Best way to remove gel polish ever!
Amazing!!! I have very thin nails and soaking with foils and scraping was tearing up my nails horribly. I used this machine and after 15 minutes, the gel polish just flaked off with my scraper. I tend to apply my gel very thick, so it takes a little longer for me to steam off. However, compared to the 30-40 minutes I used to spend soaking, the 15 minutes is not a big deal to me.It is so very easy to use. Once it warms up, the green light comes on. After 5 minutes, it beeps, after 10 minutes, it beeps again and the amber light comes on. Uses standard 100% acetone. I have heard some people voice concerns about using a flammable liquid in a product that heats up. First, there are rubber gaskets that you put your fingers through to keep the steam inside the machine. There is no really strong smell either. Second, acetone turns to steam at a lower temperature than water. To boil water, you need a temp of 100C or 212F. The boiling point of acetone is only 56C or 132F. So the machine doesn't get very hot at all. In addition, any unused acetone can be saved for the next use.In summation, I would recommend this machine to everyone who does their own gel nails.

This is AMAZING!!!!
This is AMAZING and a HUGE time saver. I have tried the cotton ball and foil method and my nails HATED that and it took hours and a ton of acetone. This took me 20 minutes total and 5ml of acetone. That's it. And I even had big thick glitter gel polish on. It's super easy to use, add in your 5ml of acetone, cover the machine wait for the green light and the beep and place your hand in with a claw like grip, then wait for the machine to beep again. You can pull your hand out and scrape a little then or you can wait until it beeps again signaling ten minutes. I pulled mine out at five and did a little scrape and saw instant results. Fair warning, new machines, you sometimes have to cycle them a few times before they get really warm. I could tell after 4 cycles mine was warming up really well. So if you try it and you don't think it's doing anything, cycle through the heating up process a few times. I am so glad I bought this and now feel I can change my gel nails more often and quicker (and I can also stop trying to peel my polish off and damaging my nails because it was faster than the cotton balls!)

It broke after a year
This little thing was a badass miracle worker, until it broke. The device melted the back side of the power switch, so it gradually became loose. I could still turn it on, after carefully jiggling the switch a dozen times or so, but then power cord shorted out in the end over the course of 10 uses. I’m flipping to try the one made by I.B.N. next to see if it holds up better, it has a flat button power system that isn’t a switch so I think it will hold up better. When it did work, it took off my 3-step gel polish from Perfect Match in 10 minutes and the skin around my fingers wasn't nearly as dried out afterwards. It makes switching out gel polish at home a dream! But I wouldn’t endorse buying this version, as it’s poorly and cheaply made.

Works in 5 minutes with Jamberry non-acetone remover but poorly made and had to replace a bad cord after a month or so
I've used it 3 times. And it worked fine each time however the cord is poorly made has a loose wire in it and you have to jiggle it to keep the power on. By the third time it had gotten so bad that I had to strap it with a rubber band to keep it turned on. It's frustrating that it has developed such a defect after only three uses and a month at most of ownership. But, it works amazingly well. I have a very hard time getting gel polish off my nails. With some of the acetone Pockets designed to supposedly remove gel I have had to soak it for as long as an hour and use up to two pockets per nail. With this steamer I'm actually able to completely remove my base, color and top coats with non-acetone Jamberry lacquer remover. Even more amazing, it only took five minutes of steam. And there was no damage to the underlying nail. It takes very little lacquer remover to work and most of it was left over and could be poured back in the bottle for the next time. So I'll give the product a moderate review. It works and does the job that's intended. But when it arrives it's got the labels half stuck on crooked and in the wrong places and is just generally very cheaply made and the fact that the cord has already gone bad is exasperating. I'm hoping that the seller can provide a new cord.UPDATE: The seller very promptly responded to my concerns and sent out a unit to replace the cord on my existing steamer. Rather than risking that I wouldn't have a working steamer they sent out an entire steamer so I can select from any other parts that I might need. I am very pleased and have recommended this product to several friends and given them the link to purchase it. A few of my friends have already purchased it and are also extremely pleased. With the heavier Sparkle polishes I have had to use the acetone remover in the steamer. But I used the soak off coconut infused remover that you can find here on Amazon and it did not disturb or dry out my nails at all since they did not actually soak in the acetone but only had the steam. I have used this steamer now multiple times and would recommend it. It still won't be the most glamorous product and it still won't be assembled well but it works great.

Outstanding!
After getting tired of waiting for another steam product to come back in stock I came on here looking and am sure glad I did. This was half the price and works like a charm. I am in nail love with this little beauty! I do nail stamping so I have 2 coats of top coat to go through and this powerhouse still does the job. Thank you for a high quality product at a very affordable price!

Worth Every Penny
This is amazing. I purchased the white one and it arrived exactly on time and early enough in the day that I was able to use it that same day. I put my fingers in for about 5 minutes and when i pulled them out the polish was curling and peeling away where I had filed the top coat. It was fantastic. I did not need to use the cuticle pusher to remove the strips, I just pushed it with my thumb nail and it slip right off. There were some some spots that needed more time, but I just put those fingers back into the acetone. I love it that it comes with 2 extra gaskets and two extra baskets. I love it!
