Yaqi Brown Synthetic Shaving Brush, Rainbow Handle

Excellent brush with a lot of character! The bristles are synthetic, but very soft and long and visually indistinguishable from real hair. They generate a nice foam when in a mug or scuttle and are easy to rinse off, yet hold water well if you soak them before shaving. As functional as the bristles are, it is the handle that's the eye-catcher! The rainbow pattern is clear and well-defined, with the bottom portion being totally transparent, while the top half is partially transparent, becoming opaque where the bristles are inserted into the plastic. The overall effect is very pleasing to the eye (assuming you like lots of colors) and looks great in the light. The brush also has a good weight and balance, with the handle being long enough to make it very comfortable to use. Overall, a highly functional synthetic shaving brush for an very reasonable price that has a unique and beautiful visual appeal.

It's beautiful but it's so soft that it's almost useless as a shaving brush. You have to really press down to smush the shaving soap to get a lather and this causes the soap to go deep into the brush bristle almost down to the handle. This causes me to have to squeeze out the soap with two fingers to bring it to the top of the brush. This is a brush for people that like to paint instead of rubbing shaving soap unto their face and head. Like I said it's beautiful but imo not quite suited as a shaving brush.

It lathers so easily, & is soft with good backbone. Love it. It is well worth more than you pay for it.

Fantastic. Just as described but better. Light makes this glow. Great size and dimensions. I like thus brown knot quite a bit. Plus great service from west coast. They never disappoint

Love this brush. It is easy to build a good lather with this brush. The handle is just long enough to reach into the the bowl and whip up the lather and pretty much keep your hand soap free. Another thing I like is how easy it cleans up. Rinses good after running under some water, then just shake it out and hang it to dry.

This Shaving Rush is a most Colorful brush to look at. Looks really nice with the light shining on it.Used it on shaving cream and shaving soap, makes lather easily with either.Plus it has a long handle, which I really like (notice how most shaving brushes are (stubby), [short]? Now I don't have to reach so far down into the shaving mug.Really a comfortable brush to hold and use.Also it hasn't shed any bristles yet,and dries quickly.This and the Yaqi Barber Pole Brush will really brighten up, and add some cheerful color to your shaving den.I Strongly Recommend this Yaqi Brush.
