Boraam Bali Counter Height Swivel Stool, 24-Inch, Walnut

We received the stool this afternoon via UPS. It came in a compact box that was easy to pick up and move around. The box itself was very well made and secured tightly which took a while to fully open. All of the stool components were well protected by Styrofoam wrap and bracing blocks to keep things from sliding around.I unwrapped all the components and spread them on the box to take inventory (see photo 1). After that, I turned on the timer and began assembly. Here are my tips and observations.1. Lay out all the bolts and washers so you can get to them.2. Take the two minutes required to read through the assembly instructions before you begin.3. The first thing to install is the two lower cross braces. This can be tricky unless you read the instructions.Note: Each end has a different bolt in it and must go in exactly as the instructions notate. You also must screw them into both the left and right seat leg assemblies at the same time. The instruction also note to install them "loosely". This is so that the upper seat swivel unit can be fitted into its slots in the legs without forcing, so leave the two cross braces screwed loosely until you get the top piece installed.4. Once the leg cross braces are installed, you can install the seat swivel assembly. It uses the four long bolts with both a flat and lock washer on each bolt. Nothing tricky about this. Once this is installed, go back and tighten the two leg cross braces to secure the assembly.5. Finally, the seat can be installed. Turn it over on a soft surface (carpet or towel) and install the four shorter bolts with their washers.6. Go back and re-check all eight bolts to ensure that they are all snug, then do a final check of the cross braces. You're done!I have never assembled one of these stools before and the total assembly time (once everything is UN-boxed) was 13 minutes. Not a difficult task.As for the stool itself, it is a beautifully finished piece of furniture (see photo 2). This is not cheap particle board, but nice grain hard wood. It is (I think Mahogany wood) with a walnut finish. It is very sturdy, rotates smoothly and the two pre-installed cross braces have protective covers so your feet don't scratch the finish (nice touch).Overall, I feel that the quality and style of this stool makes it a very good value. The assembly is very simple and the only tool that you need is included in the box.I give it two thumbs up and highly recommend.

Nice, sturdy, swivel, easy assembly, look expensive. Design is same as High end costing ups-wards of 300$ a stool. Only complaint is i wish it had 1-2 inches more on height. Counter stools can be 24-26". These are 24.

Problems from the very beginning. We bought a pair and one chair the materials cracked while putting together and had to contact the company for a replacement part.Both chairs, the footrests never stay in place and constantly come out.And now less than six months after we bought them, one of the legs snapped in half while someone who weighs 140lbs was sitting on it. Contacted the company any they will not warranty it, they want to charge us for a replacement and pay shipping and handling.Don’t waste your money.

So beautiful and the perfect height at our kitchen island counter. It cups and cradles you so perfectly, it's like being swaddled and held by your mum...no matter the size of your bum! I also worked from home and sat in the chair for hours. Didn't move. Really comfortable! I purchased 2 and will probably order a third stool. It's extremely easy to put together! I am not very handy and this was a total cinch! They are very sturdy too... so even the strongest of toddlers and clamber on this and it won't fall. I tested it.

Nice price. Stools look really good. It took me over an hour to put together each of my 3 stools but I'm not a DIY'er. The directions were clear and easy to follow. Just, for me, time consuming. For overall look and quality, I would have given a higher rating, but a crossbar on the legs of a stool broke off resulting in a little splintered wood. I was able to get the crossbar back on, and maybe the problem was my assembly, but...

Very nice stools, solid, beautiful stools. I'm giving them four stars instead of five because I bought three and two obviously came from a different warehouse and are not quite the same "walnut" color as the third. I've put the slightly darker one in the middle at the bar and it is fine but if you want all of your stools to be the exact same color, it appears that may or may not happen. One of the stools was extremely easy to put together. The other two were a little crankier and the swivel action was a little stiff at first (it was the darker one and one of the lighter ones so had nothing to do with the batch) but after a week of use they seem to be loosening up nicely. Overall, I am extremely pleased with them.

These are a pain to put together (a couple of screws didn’t seat in their holes very well and had to do some jimmying to make them work…) but once it’s together these are really great. The swivel works fantastically & quietly. the small metal bars to protect the crossbars are nice for resting feet/protecting the wood! /// Color is a rich dark brown, I’d call it a dark walnut color (they match another stool we purchased from Target the color of which is “walnut” )

I ordered 2 of these chairs. The fist one arrived missing washers - no big deal. Found some in the basement that worked. Once put together the seat doesn’t turn very well, but it looks amazing.The second chair arrived a few days later. The items in the box were poorly wrapped. Half of the hardware was missing and the wood was gauged and scraped in multiple locations. I called the company and that’s when I discovered I’d ordered open box items. The open box item was only $10 less than a brand new one! It’s totally my fault for not paying attention, but I never would have in intentionally done this. Twice. So beware! Make sure you aren’t buying a used one.I ordered another NEW one and it arrived today and it’s perfect. Very happy with these stools.

Comfy and looks really good. 24" good height

Bought 4 of these stools. 3 of them were great, but 1 of them was defective. Sent it back, but the next one was also defective (in a different way.) Amazon was nice enough to give a 20% refund, and asked me to get it fixed locally. But this has turned out to be a bit of a pain overall. Nice looking chairs, but poor quality.

Not very sturdy. One of the legs is missing a piece of wood because the rungs are delicate.
