Cable Boom Microphone - Volume Control for PlayStation PS4 or Xbox One Controller, PC, Tablet ,Laptop, Smartphone - Boompro Gaming Mic compatible with V-Moda or Most Other 3.5mm Jack Headphone 150CM

I bought this so I could use it with my Bose Quiet Comfort 25 headset on Call of Duty - Modern Warfare - Warzone. The sound comes through just fine. But, at first, everyone was complaining about a LOT of static and could barely hear my voice. I plugged this into my Android phone and made a recording and it came out crystal clear. So I started digging into my Windows 10 settings. To fix this, see attached image and note that I have unchecked all of the boxes and clicked Apply. For me, having any of these checked causes the static to return. Now the microphone comes through crystal clear and I love it. The fit into the Bose QC25 headset is nice and snug so the microphone boom doesn't wobble around all over the place. The boom stem is also rigid enough that you can position the mic however you like without it flexing out of place. The foam mic tip cover is definitely loose and will fall off at the slightest breath. So, to fix that I took a small/thin piece of Scotch tape, folded it in half backwards and wrapped it around the mic, then slid the foam tip over it. Works perfectly fine and won't fall off now.

I ordered this cable as a stand-in for a more substantial microphone setup in the near future, but I've gotta say that this thing absolutely blew my expectations! The sound quality of this microphone sounds a tier above what it cost. I work with audio on a daily basis as I'm a part time video editor. If you recorded with this and tuned it, I would have a hard time telling the difference between this and a professionally set-up lav and even some microphone setups. It does lack a little bit of the dynamic range but it captures so much detail that it just about makes up for it. Your voice will sound smooth and crispy with this mic. These are absolutely awesome when paired with gaming. if you're looking to affix a microphone to an already existing set of headphones or upgrade your audio game in a more unconventional form factor: look no further! This will make you sound so good in games. I literally get asked all the time what microphone I use and they almost never believe me when I tell them it's a 30 dollar attachable. The cable also comes with an inline clip that has a microphone mute switch and a volume adjustment wheel. It's a nice bonus to have an easy way to adjust the volume, and being able to mute. If you have the ability to use this on your headphones and were considering a ModMic, this sounds just as good, if not better, than the ModMic 5. You do not have to run another wire to you headphones as a bonus. There are a couple of problems however I personally do not find these problematic: fairly short cable and bulky inline clip. The cable only goes about 4-5 ft, but it can be extended. The inline clip is pretty useful, but this thing dangles around and can be annoying. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this over a lot of microphones out there! It has fantastic audio quality and features for the price.

First off, the product does work exactly as advertised (as far as I can tell). I own the Sennheiser Momentum 3 wireless headphones and wanted a cabled mic for voice chat in console gaming. The mic and cable all work fine. Sound gets to my headphones and the microphone output gets to my computer/console. The issue I have is that the headphone end does not physically work with the Momentum 3 headphones out of the box, despite some reviews claiming it does. Now, the product never claimed to work with my headphones so I thought I would take a chance, and I am handy enough to modify the plastic bit to fit, so I cannot fault the product itself. If anything, the blame should be on Sennheiser making different headphone series, all with a somewhat proprietary cable plug and locking mechanism, but with slightly different sized per series. The cables are already differentiated from the rest by the lock, so why make it even worse by making the lock different per headphone? I did get it to work in the end though. Two modifications were made: 1.) Shave the end. The connector was slightly too thick to fit in the hole on my Momentum 3s, so I took an Xacto knife and shaved the connector down to make it thinner. 2.) From the picture, the Momentum 3 compatible cable is on the left and this one is on the right. I highlighted the shape of the original locking channel in red, and you can see it is too deep. This made it so that even with the shaved connector, I could plug it in but not rotate to lock it. This was fixed by cutting away at the plastic to expand the hole up, towards the connector, which you can just see peeking out above the red highlight. This was also done with an xacto knife. So in the end, with a little bit of effort, I got it to work! Again, I cannot fault the product and I took a gamble purchasing this. Only knocking one star off as it is quite pricy for what it is. Similar, slim, in-line mic cables (with official Momentum 3 compatibility) are available for less than half the price, but their sound quality will probably suffer compared to the boom. In the end, I wanted the boom arm, so I went with this.

Puntos a mejorar: - La esponja del micrófono tiene 0 sujeción, se cae con cualquiera jaloncito. - El cable es muy corto, debería de tener una versión de 3 metros. - El selector de silenciar micrófono se siente raro me hubiera gustado que fuera de mejor calidad.

Do you have a set of Headphones that have a detachable 3.5mm Cable and you want to use them whilst gaming ? This might be the Ideal set up for you. The boom microphone takes place as your normal Audio cable 3.5mm cable. You simply plug them into where your normal detachable 3.5mm cable would go and you now have a Mic you can use in Discord or during game capture. Whilst it is not going to give you the same recording quality as a stand alone dedicated microphone it is good enough for people to hear you clearly with the bonus of turning your old favorite set of cans into a Gaming headset. The microphone itself is small, bendable and seems to hold its position well. Any bumping of it though will result in your having to re-positioning it again. So I would recommend this for anyone who wants to have their Headphones and be able to game !

Brilliant for the price. Mic quality is good. 1.5 meter cable but the controls are cheap plastics. Microphone foam is loose so i added a drop of glue to it. Don't think it would drop off but rather be on the safe side. On mic test its plugged into gigabyte x870 motherboard and its at 100% volume in windows with no enhancements.
