Very few authors in my lifetime have inspired and stretched my imagination more than Linda Goodman."Venus Trines at Midnight" is a small collection of her poetry that is quite interesting to read - although it usually has an Astrological bent. But then again we're talking about Linda Goodman aren't we? :)Highly recommended for Linda Goodman fans.

Venus Trines @ Midnight, although originally published in 1970 is ready for those of us in 1998. I've looked for it for years and in 2 days it was at my door. Astrologically minded people will love it as well as those who know nothing about Astrology. Her words flow as water in a brook. Enjoy!

Aside from a few good one-liners, this book is simple, one-dimensional and boring. The poetry lacks imagination and is full of the benalities obsessed over by someone too far in to astrology. I was hoping for more from such an author as Ms. Goodman - not this exercise is pure self-indulgence.

After reading Love Signs and Sun Signs which both include quotes from 'Venus' it was not as substantial as I'd hoped.
