I enjoyed trying all the colours and they lasted a long time, the only issue I have is the small bottles, i dont mind such that they are small as for the price you get to try alot of colours, my issue is I want to purchase bigger bottles of certain colours that I really like and i cant find them anywhere, not on amazon, and not even on the beetles website. This is a big shame as I'd have to buy this whole set again just for the two colours i really like which isnt practical.

As seen in the blue nails picture, I used the base coat, 3 thin layers of blue and top coat and the chipped picture shows it one week after - I was very disappointed! I then decided to give the polish a fair chance and decided to layer it up with a design (the pink design). This involved base coat, 3 of a dark pink, the swirls were a mixture of 3 different colours placed on a wet layer of polish and then 2 layers of top coat. This has lasted me for 2 weeks (second picture where the cuticle gap is larger) and there's no chipping and I expect it might last for another week! Therefore, mixed review for me but overall positive as long as you use a lot of thin layers.

The polishes are fine for their price, I've only been doing gel nails since christmas 2020 (I got these april 2021) and I find that these meet my needs. The first time I used this nail polish with the base it came with 2 nails chipped the very next day which hadn't happened to me before, but when I used a different base the next time I used these polishes it lasted for over 2 weeks. I did some nail art with them and they're fine for that, but for sheer colors like the white 3 coats were needed, and still more touch-ups in the streaky areas. The box they come in smelled very weird, like old grandma smell, but the polishes don't smell. I liked this product enough that i bought from them again though!

After a long time of searching for the perfect gel polish I decided to settle with the beetles polish kit. After a month of using it i have absolutely nothing negative to say. I absolutely love it, definitely my money’s worth. The consistency of polish is in between thick and thin so it’s easy to work. To get the best results all you need is 2 layers of which ever colour. Also most gel polish come off by soaking it in acetone which you might not have the time for but the beetles gel kit allowed you too peel it off but at the same time you can still get a long wear out of it. There’s truly the right nail polish tone for every and any skin colour. Overall get product and is fun to play around with the colours.

I have been having my nails done professionally for many many years. Due to Covid I got this set to do my own. I won’t be going back to the salon! Providing the preparation is done properly they easily last three weeks without chips or peeling, I could have them last longer than that but my nails grow quickly. The coverage is just as good as gelish or dnd, and lasts as well. I’ve seen a few people say in reviews the base doesn't cure properly- the base for gels is supposed to stay slightly tacky so I suspect it’s due to lack of understanding of what’s supposed to happen rather than a real problem. Excellent product.

Giving this product 4 stars. Colours are very vibrant/pigmented, but the nail polish is thin and needs at least 3 coats for the pale/pastel colours to get good nail coverage. By the time you finish application you have a thick layer that makes the polish chip quicker. The nail polish also seems to take longer to dry than other gel polishes. Otherwise, the kit is great value to money.

I was happy with my purchase and the nail polishes work well how ever when I opened the box the middle bottle which is blue has spilled every where. Considering the polishes are held in place with foam means who ever packaged it most likely knew there was a defect or leak with the bottle as it was the only one opened. It’s made a big mess and the bottles all sticky. So a little disappointed about that. But over all the polishes are good.

I really like these gels, only bought them a day or two before quarantine was announce because I was anticipating having to stay home for a while, and I didn’t want to live without nice nails. I am honestly so surprised at the quality of the gel for the price! and I have to say I actually don’t think I’m going to go back to have my nails done!Done mine and mums nails 2 times each with these using different colours and I’m so happy with how the sets turned out!I actually ended up buying the other 20 gel colour kit to add to the collection and have more of a range of colours
