I really didn't find any negatives to this tin box.
I purchased this tin box back in April..I rarely clean out my palettes, but I happened to wash this one recently and just wanted to comment on how nice the quality is overall. There are a lot of these tin cases offered by various brands and sellers, and they look somewhat similar at first (many sellers probably sell the exact same tin); this one just happened to be a combination of all the small details I prefer and appreciate. Here is a list of some of the things I noticed:-box closes evenly & securely. It's surprisingly common to find ones that do NOT close properly, has bent hinges etc.-metal feels sturdy, not easily dentable by just pushing in the box with your fingers-bottom flap opens up parallel to the ground! I much prefer this over flaps that fling downward, making the paint mixes puddle up-flap has rolled up edges to stop water from dripping over-pan tray ALSO has rolled edges; not rounded like the flap, but also not a sharp flat edge.-thumb ring has a nice resistence to it, so it actually stays in placeI really didn't find any negatives to this tin box.I noticed the one I purchased isn't one of the available options on this page anymore though. (medium size box with 14 full pans, $14) but I'm hoping these features carry through the other sized boxes.

Frustrating design
I should have looked more closely before purchasing this and not assumed this was the same design as other standard 48 pan palettes. In other standard palettes, the little metal tabs are situated back to back in each set of 2 rows so you can easily pull out pans. In the Fclub palette, the metal tabs all face the same direction (the left of each row); this paired with the fact that they left no room in between each set of 2 rows means the first and third rows are impossible to get pans in and out of unless you take the whole pan-holding portion out and bend the metal tabs back. Usually, you pull your pans out at the side without the metal tabs but with this layout, that side (on two rows) is closed in by the metal tabs of the adjacent row. I have tiny fingers, and I broke some nails trying to pry out the empty pans that came with the palette. The empty space in the middle of this palette that can hold brushes is also much smaller than standard palettes, making it impossible to stick extra pans in the middle like I do with all my other 48 half pan palettes. The pans that come with this palette are also wider and longer by 1mm than all the other half pans I've bought from multiple different manufacturers. This makes it much more difficult to squeeze a 13th pan in each row. They sit in the palette more snugly and won't slide around if you don't have a full row, but they are also hard to slide back and forth to reorganize your pans unless you bend the metal tabs back. I'm afraid I'm going to snap the metal tabs off at this point bending it back and forth to move stuff around. The raised 'FCLUB' logo on the bottom of each pan also makes it hard to sharpie on the name of the paint I'm putting in the pan. It's not worth sending this item back so I'm just going to use this, but I learned my lesson and will buy from my usual brand in the end. I find the design of this palette and the pans so frustrating.

Great product, friendly service.
I received my tin and it was dented to the point it was hard to open and close. I reached out to Fclub and asked for another. I could tell it was a nice quality palette and exactly what I wanted. What a nice experience that was! They went out of their way to help me. I would definitely buy from that company again. Quality product, top quality service, and warm and friendly personnel.

Modified palette to fit 36+ pans
I had purchased the 36 pan white nights palette and found the case it came in a bit cumbersome. I ordered this one since I haven’t been able to find any metal palettes that can house 36 full pans and considered just omitting some colors. Luckily I was able to pry out the brackets and applied adhesive magnets to the pans and was able to fit all 36 plus another 7 half pans of some handmade watercolors I have. Overall, can’t complain! Case came a bit dented but can’t say I care.

Now I can move the order of my colors!
Works great. I wanted to be able to move my colors around and this is perfect! Nice and compact but still plenty of room to mix colors and you can put full or half pans or a mixture of both. It came with half pans and I ordered some full pans so I could decide what colors I used the most of and switch them out to full pans. Shipping was fast and I would buy again.

Best affordable travel palette
I had recently bought a new set of watercolor tube paints (ShinHan), and I wanted to dedicate a new palette for it. This Fclub palette is perfect. It sits nicely in my small hands. The mixing areas are easy to clean. The metal edges are raised and curved so it's not dangerous. The only negative is that the removable palette jostles around a bit, so I just attached some small magnets to the bottom of it (see photos) to keep it from moving around too much. I used a Sharpie to label my half-pans, and in the final photo, you can see everything filled in. I didn't have all 48 colors to fill in, so I was able to easily remove the pans I didn't need.I would purchase this again if I buy another set of watercolor tube paints!

Compact, Sturdy Palette
This palette is very similar to the Senelier 48 half pan palette. The pans snap in and out fairly easily and stay in place. Pressure on the pans can be adjusted by bending the little metal pieces forward or backward before putting the half pan in. There are four mixing areas in the top part of the lid, and a fold out area with 8 small wells in a fold out flap. Overall size open is 13 1/4" x 8 1/2". Closed it is 7/8" tall x 8 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" deep. The lid securely snaps shut, too.

Very satisfied.
I am an artist myself and have lots of tube watercolor. So wanted to try this for the easy usability. And I am very satisfied with this product. After adding all the colors I don't feel like carrying it for any travel because it gets heavy. But instead of tubes using this tin pallette is very easy to use.
