We had a smelly vent pipe, added this cap and bingo, no smell. Brilliant

Need a septic tank vent then look no further. Brilliant does all that’s needed and more.
This vent is a must. Let’s the pipe breath without the odour. Prevents evaporation and controls pressure.

Easy to put in and tidy up the pipe work
Got rid off excess pipe that’s not needed and popped this on. It’s tidied up the outside of the house

This has actually made the smell even worse from the stench pipe

Good value, easy to fit, cured a smelly bathroom.
Our previous Air Admittance Valve (also known as a Durgo valve) was probably failing as the shower made a glugging noise as the basin emptied and the bathroom began to smell.The product was easy to fit.It is working as planned, and stopped our bathroom being smelly, as the shower's trap was syphoned empty.It was well priced (and the price seemingly depends on max airflow - 23m³ in this case).It fitted perfectly in the space available, being the same diameter as the downpipe.Unlikely to need one, but I'd certainly buy again.
