MezcoOne: 12 Collective: Marvel Classic Cyclops Action Figure, Multicolor (76290)

I bought this for the main purpose of completing my regular version one:12 Cyclops. I wanted the unasked head with the red glasses and most importantly the yellow shorts that for some reason(probably for this very reason actually, to make people spend more money) doesn't come with yellow shorts like it most definitely should. You could argue that these figures aren't EXACT duplicates of any one version of a character but rather mezco's interpretation and own version of any particular character, but I think we can all agree that those missing yellow shorts hurt what is otherwise an amazing figure. An amazing figure in hand that is. I feel it's worth mentioning a side note that some of the promotional pictures don't really do it justice, but regardless without the yellow shorts this PX version still looks awesome and as a figure all by itself is really well done. If you like the more classic look for Cyclops I would very much recommend picking this up. If there is one issue I have with either version it's the limited range of movement in the neck do to the light up feature for the eyes. While I feel that it's unnecessary and if given the choice between better articulation or a light up feature I would choose better articulation every time. That being said the unasked head in my opinion is the best looking one when the light up feature is activated. It really does look fantastic. You can just barely see it through the glasses and then you lift them up and it looks really cool. Over all whether you want the "missing" pieces to make a more complete Cyclops or just want a more classic Cyclops you won't be disappointed with this purchase. I was very happy with it.

I read a couple of the negative reviews before buying, however, I took a risk and happy to receive the Cyclops pictured. The figure is a great representation of classic, and if you remove the leather briefs, modern Cyclops. I was super impressed with the number of visors included as well as the over all body suit. The regular Scott Summers head has eyes that light up red and a pair of red shades, very cool.

Dropped down to $60-ish and I decided to pick it up. I did receive the Previews Exclusive as pictured and it's a great figure. It's probably worth noting that Cyke comes packaged in a decorated, collectible tin like other Previews Exclusives.

Picked up this PX Cyclops and couldn't be happier.

Pros: accessories and light up feature. Poses pretty well. Price was 70 dollars. Classic cyclops.Cons: light up feature limits the neck articulation. Posing can be hindered due to it being a soft good figure.

So the light up eyes feature was a good idea but the head and neck doesn't look good at all. I purchased this from a third party seller and I'm sure it was used even tho they listed as new. The eyes don't light up and when you try and swap heads the whole neck comes out. It just looks like a giraffe totally got bamboozled so watch out for those third party fibers. I usually only order direct from Amazons warehouse but I figured I'd roll the dice. BIG MISTAKE!!! Won't be ordering from that seller again
