Great flavor! Tried it with a little horseradish just as good. Ya gotta be careful with the strength of the horseradish! Tasty for sure. The broth smells like a really nice vegetable broth. Excellent for Passover or any time. Great texture.

Sometimes I wonder if I had the only Polish-Jewish grandmother that didn't make her food sweet. As a result, I don't care for sweetened gefilte fish (not that any bottled version compares to Nana's made-from-scratch, of course). All the other bottled varieties are either much too sweet or unbearably sweet for my palate, so I am very happy to find this one which is unsweetened. I get this on subscribe & save, because it's an easy, very low-calorie snack with protein. And, naturally, I eat it with white, unsweetened, horseradish--the better to clear my sinuses with!

I don’t get to use the product as it’s was broken and glass was inside food

Like what mom used to make. Its very good and probably the only one like it on the market. Tried the few other store brands and by far this is the best.

We have ordered Manischewitz many times and always have a problem opening the jar. We have run the top under hot water, soaked the top in hot water for five minutes, and banged the jar upside down on a strong floor tile, and used a special jar opening cloth. any ideas would be appreciated.

I have ordered this 2 pack of Manishevitz gefilte fish many times and have never had the problem of one of the jars was total mush and not edible. I’m reluctant to buy it again and should receive a credit for it as I had to throw it in the garbage!
