Pectin Powder 100g - Extra Strong, Perfect for Making Jams, Marmalades, Cake Fillings and more

For home cooking, this product is excellent for making jam and marmalade.Using this pectin saves time and increases flavour as less sugar can be used and less cooking time is needed for the fruit to start gelling.The only downside to this product is that novices to such a product will need a little practice as pectin does gel and if not careful it is easy to get lumps of hard pectin in the jam / marmalade, that is where the practice is needed.Apart from jams this can be used for making purees and sauces for ice cream etc.One advantage in using pectin is that one can use less fruit although more fruit and less pectin is better. Using less fruit lowers the cost of production.I am recommending this pectin as it is good quality, does the job it's intended for and it is good value

Perfect for making my marmalade set. Made two batches the first one I didn’t use this but used a different make, and had trouble getting it to set.. the second batch I used this and it set without any problems. Will be using this again when I need it

This made my marmalade actually set properly, though I did use a lot more than the recommended amount. And plenty of pectin powder left for the next batch of jams

Instructions need to be bigger

Really good quality. I used half the quantity recommended and it was excellent. Arrived well packaged and very quickly.

Good product but expensive for the quantity
