Lots of fun and keeps them busy!
This was a birthday gift for our 6 year old who LOVES sharks. It kept him busy for well over an hour and was so interesting to watch. I will say it is much easier and less dusty if you get it wet as you dig. Ours was in the shape of a big shark tooth, not a shark head, but that’s not a big deal to me. The reasons for 4 instead of 5 stars is one of the teeth was broken. Not a huge deal as it can be glued easily, but still broken (and I know we didn’t do it as we were sitting right there with him and made sure he was super gentle) but it happens. The bigger issue in my opinion is that all 3 teeth were all together in one corner. As soon as we found one the other 2 were all right there as well. It was just a little discouraging for a kiddo to be digging for an hour and not find anything and then it’s instantly done. But over all, I would definitely buy this again! It was super fun and now he’s got 3 sweet shark teeth to display!

Excellent gift for 8-year-old grandson
This was a great birthday gift for my 8-year-old grandson! Great value for the money spent like all National Geographic products I've experienced. Would definitely recommend this item for a young explorer.

No Shark teeth
Still contains crappy plastic shark figurine, no real shark teeth.Recommend to not buy it. I guess that it is out of stock and they send shark figure on purpose.

You don’t get what’s pictured
Doesn’t look like the pictures. The actual little thing you dig in does NOT look like a shark as is pictured, and is very small. I’m sure the young man I’m gifting this to will enjoy it nonetheless, but if you’re expecting this to look like the pictures don’t be fooled!
