Amphipod Hydraform Thermal-Lite Handheld BPA-Free Water Bottle 20oz

Love it! I got the 24 oz because I needed it for training on my longer runs. I think another reviewer said this as well..but I hate carrying anything while running. But I couldn’t go without it. Water alone was not enough for me to get to mile 20. Anyway, I got used to running with it and now I don’t know that I’ll run anything over 8-10 miles without it. Noticed a huge improvement in my runs since I was..wait for it...hydrated?! I actually used this same bottle for my marathon race a few days ago. Worked like a champ. Mine “leaked” but it’s only when it’s full enough that the liquid goes through the cap. It seems to creep into the screw cap and leak under the lid. Maybe my tiny wrists can’t screw the lid in tight enough? Who knows. Leaking stops after I drink a few ounces. But I love this thing. It even has a zipper pocket I can put up to 2 Gatorade gel packs in and a pack of chews with my keys. I’ll buy another when this breaks down. I also saw a ton of other marathoners running with it. We cheered in solidarity! Lol kindred spirits! Can’t leave without it on long runs!

I purchased this to use on a 60K nighttime trail run in Texas during the last weekend in August. I ran with it a few times before the race and it really felt nice. Because of the hydration issues associated with running in Texas during the summer, I opted to use this in conjunction with (2) 10oz bottles on a hydration belt as backup. The strategy worked flawlessly. It was just enough liquid to keep me well hydrated between aide stations and the bottle felt very comfortable in my hand for over 9 hours. The lid seals well and is easy to tighten and remove even while running on trails in the dark.

The bottle is nice. Holds enough water for a 12-17 mile run in good conditions. Not big enough for really hot days or if you sweat a ton, but good otherwise. The pouch holds my keys and not much else. SiS gels do not fit and it is not big enough for a phone. It is comfortable to hold but does take a bit to get used to; my hand would cramp a bit initially but that had gone away.

This is our first handheld bottle, but comes highly recommended from friends who have tried many of them. My wife and I both love it. The strap is secure, and fits well enough that there's really no need to cling to the bottle to carry it. The foam covering keeps fingers from feeling plastic and keeps it from being slippery, and the bottle is a great shape for grasping if you do want to grasp it. Having a little pocket for keys, gels, etc. on the outside is a great touch too. The bottle doesn't leak, and is easy to open and close. My friends were right - this is the one to get.

I read all the reviews on water bottles I could run with. This was a big need for me on hotter, longer runs.The strap for the hand doesn’t adjust, but I have small hands so it was perfect.If you forget to shut the lid, it will spill out from being jostled (so close it-not hard to do)The lid doesn’t easily slide open, which I like/it’s not difficult, but it’s going to stay closed if you want it to.I’ve been running with this steadily since I purchased it (3 months, over 100 runs) and it’s holding up nicely.

This is my go to bottle. I am in central Texas so it is hot 99.9% of the time. I fill up the bottle about 75% and then freeze it so I have cold water during my run. The size is perfect and the insulation helps keep the heat from my hand off directly off the plastic which would melt the ice faster.Best thing about this is the very simple cap. I prefer this old school cap over the rubber ones. Much more simple and the water comes out easier and in a more constant flow.I am buying two more after this review just incase it becomes unavailable.

I like this bottle except the design of the lid/strap connection is not very good. It is hard to get the lid tight enough so that it doesn't leak liquid on your hands while running. I think this is because the ring that holds the strap is between the lid and the bottle. As you run, it seems like the lid works its way loose sometimes.
