General Grabber AT2 Radial Tire - 215/65R16 98T

I bought these for my 05 Subaru baja and they are the best that I have found for it. I really like the tread design and the way they handle. Very low road noise and ride smoothly.

Some of the best all terrain tires for available in smaller sizes. Great for a crossover you want to give more bite without generating a lot of road noise or an AWD compact. They are NOT purpose-built snow tires but WILL fare much better than your standard street tires (or the smooth thin tires a lot of 'premium' wheel packages come with) and serve for soft road and light offroad use year round.Great durability overall; I managed to split a sidewall on a direct hit to a large, sharp rock but otherwise they have held up through weekend duty on normal woodland and worksite debris. More impressively the remaining tires were still well within wear specifications for a picky Subaru AWD system (meaning a new tire could be added without replacing all four, or even its counterpart) even after 10,000 miles.Will update if and when I've destroyed them all.

These tires are working out well so far. Had them for a few months. Pleasantly surprised that they are not super noisy on the highway. I have a front wheel drive van, and I have had no problems driving in snow. Very happy.

First, these are great tires in all conditions. Gravel, snow, pavement, they just work great. Road noise is a lot less than I expected for an AT tire. They are not stock size but fit my 2000 Subaru outback perfectly.You should however be warned, that many tire shops charge more than TWICE their normal rate to mount tires purchased on Amazon, and some will not even do it. It took a bit of running around before I could get them mounted and the extra cost wiped out all the savings from Amazon.Second, in cold weather these tires get 'flat spots' where the car is resting on them. This causes a vibration at 50-60 miles per hour until the tires warm up and flex enough to round out. This takes about 5-10 miles of driving on the highway. Its annoying and will make you think something is wrong....and then leave you scratching your head when it goes away, only to come back the next day.

Definitely what I wanted. These things are awesome in DEEP snow.

Quiet on the road, good grip, on and off road, and great in the snow. They have made my Subaru Forester quite the adventure vehicle.

These tires are unbeatable for the price. Plus the road noise is very aggressive. I love it. Great traction on and off road.
