Clinical Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple 6th Edition

Easy to read and understand

I feel like a nerd because I actually enjoy reading this clinical microbiology book! Not only does this book offer valuable and updated information, but it’s also fun to read with all these hilarious tricks to help with my aging memory. I wish we had this book back in the days of med school.

I purchased this book as an additional textbook for my microbiology classes at the medical school. It has funny illustrations and conveys info in a simple way. I loved reading it and never got tired. It is not a shiny book but print quality is nice. CMMRS helped me to ace microbiology final, but have not used it for step 1 prep. Would recommend!

I hate to be the contrarian... but I do not think this book is good anyone trying to learn clinical microbio on a first go around. And even then, I don't think it's the best book for review either. I am finding deja's review to be much more useful.Personally, I found the cartoons not very helpful. Okay, they're goofy and funny but I thought they were annoying especially when I was trying to actually learn specific details. The material is still very dense regardless of how "simple" it's been made here. There is still large tables of information. Learning from tables is very difficult, at least for me.I guess what I wanted was Goljan but for microbio... Maybe that's my fault... In any case, there's my two cents.
