Quantum Mechanix Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Art Print Poster 27 x 40in

The poster is great but it arrived with a dent in it so that when it was unrolled there were marks all down the poster from top to bottom. The creasing had cut thru the ink so the marks were white and stood out against the dark blue of the background. Very disappointing. The mailing box was not dented so the poster had to have been already dented when it was put in the box for shipping. Other than that it was a very nice poster, as it appears online, nice colors, nice big size. My grandson was thrilled to get it. But now I have to get him another one because of the denting.UPDATE: I bought a second poster for my grandson so he could have one without the creases. But this one also arrived dented and creased!!! And, again, the outer mailing box was fine. No dents at all. So the poster, again, was obviously dented before being put in the box for mailing. So I will return this one for a refund and not try a third time. Ridiculous. (He is keeping the first one, dents and all).

I bought this poster for my brother as a congratulations on getting a full ride to college, and not only is the poster incredible, but having ordered from Acadian made it all the more worthwhile! I ordered the poster and after a month went by without receiving it I left a message with Acadian and they sent me another one free of charge! I would recommend these guys to anyone! Love the poster!!

The poster is great, good quality and well made.But the problem is that even though the packaging was not damaged the poster had a kink that is very visible in the front see pic.I was expecting it to come in a round tube not a big square box.

Poster was in wonderful quality and rolled up nice and snug.

I ordered this from Animewild along with the Firefly Anniversary poster. They shipped together in one big box, no poster tubes and of course both were crushed. I returned them with no problems and ended up buying the set somewhere else - from a thoughtful, geeky website - which shipped them in poster tubes and no problems. They look beautiful framed on my wall. So in summary, great poster - poor shipping - easy return.

The poster was beautiful, but it came damaged...

This poster is huge, and I mean huge. However, if you frame this baby and put it up on your wall, it will not only soothe your inner nerd, but it will also look very classy. The colors are nicely printed on the paper of the poster. Definitely happy with this buy.

The product looks like someone pulled an image of an actual poster and printed on a 27" x 40" piece of photo paper with poor color and pixelation occurring as a result...The definition of art may be considered as the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power. Copying, pasting, and poorly printing what appears to be a stretched out image of someone else's work is not art.

Poster is just as pictured, printed on a poster-weight, slightly glossy paper. It's pretty huge but if you trim the edges, it will fit into the Ikea RIBBA 61x91cm frame (minus the matte) without cutting off the image or text. The quote in small text is from the episode "Vincent and the Doctor", which, if you can't see read it in the low-resolution image above, goes as follows:"The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. DO NOT buy this product.I bought it and the poster was complacently crumpled when I got it! It was obviously a jpeg image printed onto a large piece of paper as the image was so blurry I couldn't read what the words said. Don't waste your money, buy this poster from somebody else!

Printed on nice, thick paper. Looks like an expensive poster. Deep colours. Sparks the imagination. Lovely simple design. Awesome poster.

Das Poster hatte eine lange Lieferzeit, was an sich ja nicht schlimm ist. Was mich allerdings sehr ärgert ist, dass es sich hier nicht um das richtige Poster handelt, sondern um einen Nachdruck. Hier hat jemand das Foto des Originals aus dem Internet genommen und auf Poster drucken lassen. Das kann man zum einen am schlechten verschwommenen Druck zum anderen an der Rückseite des Posters erkennen. Es ist die Marke des Herstellers des Fotopapiers zu sehen. Ich habe auch die anderen beiden Anniversary Poster gekauft und hier ist das nicht der Fall.
