Deka 9A49 AGM Intimidator Battery

After 18 years, the original alternator died and the 10 year old Napa battery with it. Luckily, the car was parked at home and I decided to upgrade to a more modern battery. Arrival from the vendor in New Jersey to Upstate New York took 3 days from the time I placed the order.It took 5 minutes to install the Intimidator myself and provided enough of a charge to drive 45 minutes to my mechanic's shop and a new alternator.

Battery dead within 2 months. No clear cut policy with refund/replacement.Called Amazon twice and got no-help. Also called East Penn,Renewable energy,Synthesis Power Corp (all suppliers/resellers of Amazon and received the services that every customer are afraid to happen to themselves-cold shoulders). I hope Amazon can resolve my issue with this defective battery I got. Dont buy DEKA 9A49 AGM Intimidator battery.

Deca has been my choice in batteries ever since a Motorsports dealer recommended them for my personal watercraft (which generally required replacement every year or two). Deca solved that pain lasting several years providing excellent performance and I confidently expect this battery for my wife’s Grand Cherokee diesel to provide the same reliability and performance.

Do not buy this battery. It's defective and Amazon or the Manufacture will replace the battery!

Had a hard time getting the old battery out of the 84 Merc-Benz 300 TD this one slide right in! Works great; car fires up just right. No more jumper cables needed

So far my husband charger is working great!! Very easy to put in!

It just died after expensive installation, car rental, and mechanic expense. Not only wasted $300 but also that much on car rental.
