Yes to these!
They’re exactly what I was looking for. Sturdy for my wild puppy. Just unlock and clip on dog tags. Way better than the cheap coil ones that come with the tags.

Simple but so helpful
I love this little contraption. My dog has a rabies tag and a license and they are a pain to take off the loop. This lets me keep those on one side and open the other so that I can change out her collar. (Yes, she is spoiled and has several). I don't need tools!

Holding strong!
I had the traditional circular tag holders on and somehow, my dog managed to get them caught in things and rip them off... Found this, cheap enough to try it out, well, holy moly this is all I'll ever use for tags now. Super easy to get on, thin enough to fit tags on without another o ring, and a locking mechanism that actually stays locked to keep tags on the dog! It's been over 3 months and they're in great shape! 10/10 recommend this for your dog's tags! (I have a Mastiff, so they may hang lower for a small dog, but it's pretty small still)

Perfect Clip
These clips work perfectly for my 10 lb dog tag on her collar. They would work a bit better if shorter for little ones. Hang a bit long, but she hasn’t lost her tag yet, so we’re good. Worth the money. Easier to install than others.

Hook for rabieis and name tag
Haven't tried it as yet, but looks like it will be fine

Safer for them - and me
I first got one of these for my lab-coonhound mix who must have briefly gotten his tag or the metal ring caught on something - the tag was still on his collar, but the ring was stretched out with the ends protruding. This worked well for him. Then my Am Staff mix somehow got HIS tag ring stuck on a blanket that he was sitting on. He was greatly displeased. So I got him one of these, too. I’m going to proactively get one for the new dog I’m adopting and skip the whole ring thing. I do think this is a safer option and less likely to get caught, although I made it through many childhood dogs and seven of my own before I suddenly had two issues with the rings within months. It does make the tag hang a little lower, but it doesn’t seem to be a problem. Might be an issue for a very small animal. They also save my fingers and fingernails from the ordeal of the ring. Highly recommend.

Lost Both
As great an idea as this is, within three weeks time, we've lost one off each of our two dogs. More expensive name/ID tags, rabies and license tags. Hoping that when the snow finally melts, they will be somewhere in the yard. Disappointed.
