More expensive than other papers,but worth the extra cost
Ideal for my watercolor projects. Rough texture was just what I was hoping for.

Excellent, at a price
The best watercolor paper that is readily available. Yes it costs more than other brands - but it is worth the price. Take advantage of the block gluing to reduce warping.

Beware of smushed corners
The paper is amazing. Best on the market. Or at least 99/100. Maybe there is one better in the world. The only issue is the shipping. Mine came with the corners a teeny bit banged up from the paper sliding around in the box. And the plastic around the paper was sliced open. For practice it’s ok. If you’re buying to sell your work, you should beware of this.

Expensive but convenient
Great paper and size (31x41cm) as it fits nicely in my Plein air backpack. If I use a lot of water (and I often have to since I paint in very hot, dry climate) the plastic block binding sometimes cracks but this not a deal breaker as long as I have some masking tape to secure the remaining sheets to the stiff cardboard backing as I use the remaining sheets... it is also relatively expensive compared to loose sheets but convenient for travel

This paper is the best on the market in my opinion. Very sturdy, and great texture! Highly recommend.

弘法も筆の誤りとは言いますが、そうです！この紙さえあれば、特に透明水彩絵の具の難しさの半分は克服できます(^^)

Gold Standard as you know already
Exceptional paper at a price. I usually use Arches cold pressed paper so this is the first time I use rough. Depending on the subject I’m painting. Rough paper adds additional texture to brush strokes and marks aiding in expression of rugged terrains and plains. Recommended. Wish it was available in thicker options on Amazon AE.

Arches halt....
Qualität hält was es verspricht! Bin eigentlich ein Fan von dem cold pressed Papier von Arches, es gibt nix besseres, aber für ein bestimmtes Projekt müsste es das sein: Perfekt. Hat seinen Preis, aber die Qualität ist es allemal wert. Super!
