Sturdy and Works Great
Very well made tool. Cleaned around 60 sprinkler heads. Got the knack after a couple and the job went well. Heads are accessible and operate better. Will probably use this once a year so this is a lifetime tool.

Sturdy tool that should last at least a decade with proper use and care
The tool survived shipping even though the box it was sent in was dubiously thin and beat up, but the cutter circle was wrapped and protected. Once you remove from packaging I would recommend a 4inch plastic plant pot (my seymour tool was a 4inch diameter hole creator so use whatever pot size is appropriate) to sheath the bottom cutter circle as it is surprisingly sharp and will cut you if you casually leave it hanging off the edge of a wheel barrow or during transport for example - also this will keep the tool sharp and protected when not in use and leaned against hard concrete surfaces. The tool excels in its function and creates circular holes around sprinklers / pipes etc - I would say it works best when used with good turf grass and soft soil. Rocks will ding/ dull the cutter (it will still work but will just require more force later in the cutting action) - grass roots, even some medium tree roots are sliced like butter - if you have more than 10 sprinklers you will want this tool to clean them up!

Sturdy and quickly removes turf around 4” rotors
Some of my 4” sprinkler rotors have been slowly sinking into the turf over the years. If you push 1/3 down on the tool and twist it neatly removes the overgrown turf covering your sprinker. This tool really shines when replacing 4” rotors. If I push the tool all the way down and twist it will nearly carve out a section of turf. Pull and most of the turf comes out in one piece. Lightly moisten the dirt around the rotor to keep it from falling into the hole you will create. You can use channel locks or your hands to twist off the rotor.I was able to remove a rotor that was sunken in 2” below the turf level without digging. Added a plastic cutoff riser to the new rotor and twisted it back onto the irrigation pipe. This was a huge time saver compared to digging after a sunken rotor.

Heirloom quality....!
This thing is built like a tank, but not too heavy. Works perfectly! Will definitely outlast me! After I'm gone it will be something my kids will have to (1.) Wonder what the heck it is, and 2. What to do with it....!

Works well. Wish it would dig a little deeper.
Would like it to dig deeper so you can replace a sprinkler head.

Easy to use
Very sturdy and easy to use! I am petite (5’0” weight of 115#) but I do not have any issues using this tool. All I have to do is center the post over the middle of the sprinkler head, press down with my feet using my body weight to sink the tool until the bar at the top of the circle is touching the ground, and then rotate the handle clockwise to remove the grass and dirt/clay that surrounds the sprinkler head. It is easy to remove that grass and soil by pushing it from the top down through the bottom. I can then place what I remove in any bare spots in my yard or place it in my compost bin. This tool is made well and very sturdy so it will last for years to come.

My irrigation company started charge, per head, to trim heads. Not any more!
Sturdy, sharp teeth, very well built, even better than the ones the irrigation company uses. I could have paid for almost the whole cost of this tool the very first time I used it. The only problems are clearing it when it comes out, and occasionally having to dig out the ring because it stays in the ground. But this has toothed blades and, so far, has cut anything it's faced. It does help keep the heads from fouling with dirt and roots that search for better access to water, and find it inside the head (amazing the tendrils can get into a popup head, and the amount of dirt/sand that can be sucked into them.
