ContigoHuron Snapseal Travel Mug

I ordered a vivacious color and what I received was a basic stainless steel look. I love the product I love Contigo products, but I really wanted the vivacious color.

I've been using Contigo thermals for about 10 years. This month I tried a new cup that was supposed to allow you to check the temperature of the contents in your cup and it malfunction the first time I used it. I am back to my Contigo never to leave again. The only problem is if you take the rubber gasket out to clean it YOU CAN NOT GET IT BACK CORRECTLY.

I travel a LOT for work. I bring a contigo with me everywhere. I never have a leak or spill in my backpack even when I shove my pack in the airplane overhead with a full cup. Very reliable.

The color, and a nice size for a smaller hand.

I took away a star because they gave me the wrong color! Other than that, the product is great!

Keep the coffee hot for a long long time

I love the Contigo brand cups. Always keeps my coffee nice and hot even if I have to come back to it hours later. Spill/Leak proof if the snap seal is closed. Otherwise no. Not so crazy about that feature, I love the other design better where I have to press the side of the lid to drink. And once I release it, it’s automatically sealed so it won’t spill. However the Lid On that design is a hassle to clean but this one not so much. On a side note that has nothing to do with the cup itself-I ordered the pink but I got sent Grey! Not happy about that but didn’t feel like going through a return, so I just kept it because it is the right cup just not the right color. Overall the contigo brand is still my favorite coffee cup.

What should you expect? The manufacturers claim the travel mug will keep its contents hot for six hours. It might do so if you pre-heat the mug and then fill it with your chosen beverage, put the lid on and leave it for six hours. But if you drink half of your drink and then leave it for two hours before deciding to finish the remainder, then your drink will be just warm and not very pleasant.I found the drinking hole unpleasant to get my lips around and usually found some liquid dribbling from the corners of my mouth. I would not recommend this product.

This used to work well and despite being used for nearly 1 year consistently on a daily basis, the quality of the product is still great, looks brand new. However, in the last few weeks it has stopped keeping drinks warm, within a few hours, hot drinks are stone cold. I therefore can only assume that it is faulty or broken somehow and no longer working as it should. It hasn't been dropped or banged, it literally goes in to a cupboard all day until around lunchtime (from 8am) when it used to be lovely and warm still. Now, it's cold, so renders the product useless for us, unfortunately.Lasted 10 month.

I bought this travel mug for its leakproof qualities and the ability to keep drinks hot for up to 7 hours. It did not appear to leak in the short use I gave it, but drinks were only hot enough to drink in about an hour. After that they were just about luke-warm in 3 hours, and went downhill from there.This was returned after 2 trials; in the second trial I pre-heated the mug with boiling water, then made tea. This had little to no effect.The tea also tasted strange even when it was warm enough to drink but this may have improved with use and frequent washing

I bought the insulated Contigo spill proof cup as an upgrade to my current reusable bamboo coffee cup as i thought it would be more versatile and leak proof etcHowever upon using it for the first time today I realised although its stainless steel cup and doesn’t leak it does NOT fit my cup holder. 🚗So not fit for purpose and also it does not keep drinks hot for long either and quite difficult to open once screwed shut 👎

Can confirm this keeps drinks hot. I work in a supermarket that currently has no heating, so it's freezing in our break room. I made some tea at 8:30, in the mug, with no pre-heating. Didn't get a chance to even try it until 12:20. The tea was still so hot that it was uncomfortable to drink. Well deserved 5 stars
