These pastels are awesome… They are full-size pastels. I seem petty for complaining about this because the price was so good but they were advertised as coming with a wooden box and they do not. But at that price they are amazing. It is a deal without the wooden box. I recommend them highly , Look around and you’ll find not a better deal than this

These pastels are exactly what I was looking for. They are the perfect consistency between soft and hard and blend and layer easily without leaving too much powder. The consistency is creamy and not scratchy or chalky in any way. Each stick has a label with the color along with the lightfast rating. The colors range is extensive and vibrant but also includes greys and several very light colors which are usfulThis is a versitle set of pastels that can be used as a stand alone set or added to existing pastels. They are a nice creamy consistency between hard and soft. They also blend easily and do not leave alot of powder when layering. Very pleased with purchase.

Rembrandt pastels are legendary, so no comments necessary on quality. What deserves special mention is the service from the seller, Jackson Art Supplies in the UK. I ordered these in the US, as the price was less than 1/2 the cost from the cheapest US supplier, even with overseas shipping factored in. A 6-week delivery time was quoted. However, these arrived a full four weeks early. The pastels were wonderfully packed and arrived without a single broken pastel.This was the Landscape set of 90 full-size pastels. The Portrait set also has 90 full-size pastels. 55 colors are common to each set and 35 unique to each set. The Portrait set favors warm tones, while the Landscape set has more greens and grays. The two sets together provides 125 unique colors/shades with 55 of the common colors with 2-sticks each. Together, they make a versatile and long-lasting set.

If I disliked Rembrandt, I should have my head examined, as I have been buying only Rembrandt for the past fifty-six years. I am a professional portrait artist and sneak a few horses on the side. For me these pastels are the workhorses of pastel people. Yes, there are pricier brands but I work with what gets the job done with pizzazz and a little flare. Rembrandt has never let me down. I sell all that I create and I thank the Lord for teaching my art teacher never to work with cheap materials (I am not referring to price here). If you work with cheap stuff your work will look like what you used. Rembrandt is great for its wondrous balance between the stuff that binds the pastels together and the amount of color used. The more color, the more your tempermental your pastels will be. Drop them and end up with a puddle of dust. Rembrandt will never do that and you still will have pictures alive with colors.h

Was a bit worried about being shipped all the way from the UK. They did an excellent job packaging them and shipped them faster than the estimated time. Very happy camper! Anyone that has worked with Rembrandt pastels knows how creamy and delightful they are to work with. Glad I got this set to go with my portrait set as the landscape has a huge range of beautiful blues, greens and such.

The ad was a bit confusing. The headline said wooden box with 90 general pastels. The pictures suggested a 90 stick landscape set in cardboard box. The latter is what I actually received, and that's what I was looking for. An excellent range of colors for landscapes. The cardboard box was well padded inside, and none of the pastels were broken. The pastels themselves are richly pigmented, lay down easily, layer well, and all that good stuff. Very happy with the product.

青系、茶系、緑系が充実。四季の風景が多彩な色選びで描けそうです。レンブラントはセヌリエ、シュミンケより発色がよくないと言われますがプロではないので、これで十分。むしろ低価格で助かります。シュミンケ３０色とレンブラント９０色で迷いましたが、やっぱり色数が多いほうが、多様な表現ができるし描いていて楽しいです。一色だけ、うまくかけない色があり。多分不良品だと思いますが、指でのばそうとしても、ぼかせませんでした。多用しそうな色だったので、残念です。それと輸入品の宿命と言ってもいいと思いますが細かい所が雑です。巻いてある紙が曲がっていたり、しわが寄っていたり。画材と初めて対面するときの感動を大事にしている私としてはふたを開けた時に、ラベルがきちんとそろっていないと、ちょっとがっかりします。その点は国産品はきっちり作られていて気持ちいいですね。

Very nice selection that are exactly as advertised and arrived intact without a single damaged stick due to the very nice foam lined boxes they are packaged in. These pastels have the full ranges of colors anyone will ever need for producing lovely landscape paintings. Deserving of five star rating in every way!
