NSA 50C Countertop Water Filter

This filter will save me $1,000 a year in water cost. That's amazing. It hooked up to my faucet without a problem. I was concerned because it was one of those retractable faucets, not the old kind from the 90s

These are super items! I used to sell them wayyyyy back when and they were very expensive. While there have been advancements sometimes simple is best practice and less is more! We live on a Huge Prision a true gated community and the water is self contained so we at loose water service sometimes and since we lose the prime one the pumps with the electricity the filtration systems do not always work as well as they should. These are a great 2nd backup and keep us from getting many of the stomach bugs that others around us seem to be plagued with. I always suggest these to people on and off the farm because water safety is a huge must for every family. Make sure you use one on your Ice Makers as well if you have one or get a whole house system if you drink your bath and toilet water but most of the time the kitchen and Ice Box are the most important places. Its ridiculous to constantly pay for bottled water and cause more plastic waste to pollute our planet when we can reuse containers. There is no need to filter water for toilets, baths, clothes, and general house cleaning or watering the yards. These can be added to the kitchen and bath sinks just by changing the very tip of your existing fixtures and all pieces are included. When you need filtered water pull the little metal lever and fill your glass, container, or whatever, when finished put the lever back so that you only filter when you need to; this extends your filters life.

I used to sell these filters 20 years ago and also used them myself. They are the best and longest lasting filters out there. I bought this one to replace a filter that I have been using on my kitchen sink for over 20 years. The old filter was still putting out good tasting water but I accidently knocked it off the sink and broke off the nozzle.

I thought you could use this unit also as an inline filter but after installing the filter it did work. But luckily I was at home and the filter came apart and flooded part of my kitchen. I would suggest to state enphatitally that this unit is just to be used as above the sink water filter. As far as the filter goes it’s a great unit just not intended for the use I stated previously.

I have been using these for years, and they do a good job of purifying a lot of water. They are rather easy to install and use. I ordered this on the same day that I ordered something from another company that said "2- day free shipping," and this got here a day earlier than the other package.

This old style counter top water filter system was one of the best in its hayday 90's & they still work great. Our water in our city is terrible with chlorine & other additives that is has to be toxic to drink for sure. I was constantly going to the grocery for a few years to refill gallon water jugs with the reverse osmosis filtered water. It was a pain carrying all the jugs & not to mention,that reverse osmosis water is considered "dead water" as it takes all the minerals out of the water. Our water now taste great with this filter system and we seem to be drinking more of it,than what we did with the reverse osmosis water.Try it you will like it especially for the price compared to other units.

The item did not come with all the necessary parts. When I attached the hose to the water filter and the faucet adapter to my faucet the watersprayed out in all directions. I decided to call the company (NSA) to see if anything could be done, They informed me that the kit was missing a small metal tube which needed to be inserted into the hose which was then attached to the water filter. The faucet adapter was also defective as well it seemed. There was a way of tightening the faucet adapter so there was less leakage which was missing on the part which was sent to me. So I bought a new diverter kit which included the required parts. Then the water filter started working somewhat properly without water floodingthe countertop or spraying us in our eyes.
