I found this very valuable!
I’ve had the goal of doing online training and coaching for a long time, but struggled to sort out my ideas into a system that could be offered in the online space. While a lot of the wisdom shared wasn’t totally new to me, it was very valuable to see how other online trainers structure their work so that I could model it for myself.

READ THIS BOOK
This book is amazing! Super helpful and in its own league. No other book makes online training easy to understand like this. If your a trainer, like me, who's considering online training then I highly recommend reading this book. I am very excited to apply what I have learned from this book. Big shot out to the authors for helping personal trainers grow their business.

Outdated
This book would have made sense when it was first released but the online training world is super saturated right now and the chance of making money doing online coaching is nill now I've followed Jon for a few years but he seems pre preoccupied now with how many " likes" he gets on Instagram..

The Go To Guide for Trainers Looking to Go Online
I picked up this book from thePTDC website, as a bundled package. As a new personal trainer, I wanted the best information in my hands to get my career kickstarted. Working a full-time job, I knew that I wouldn't be taking the path of most personal trainers and cutting my teeth in the gym. So, I looked forward to diving into the WFP's Guide to Online Training. What did I get? Well, I basically got the basics of what I needed to get my online training business off the ground. Here's what I like about this book:First, it gives you what you need, and nothing you don't. This book isn't filled with fluff. Jon gives you proven methods that work and exactly what you need to get going quickly without getting bogged down with analysis paralysis.Second, this book isn't theory, it's proven methods. Jon & Alex started the Online Training Academy, so they know what they're talking about. They've put in the work to figure out what works and what doesn't.What I probably enjoyed most is that this book is beyond practical. You're not being promised overnight success, but you're given the principles you need. As a new trainer, I couldn't ask for anything more.Is it everything you need to know? No, it's not. You get that in the Online Trainer Academy, but it IS everything you need to GET STARTED, and that's what matters. This is a book I'd recommend to any trainer looking to take their services online (which every trainer should do on some level).

Clear Direction
Great book! OL training has always been a dream of mine. Have put in work for 4 years now in person and I think it's about that time. This book offers clear, great direction with where and how to get started with the transition. Absolutely love how these guys went in depth on the psychology of this field from learning about your own self as a coach/trainer, to finding your ideal client, to which system will work for you personally in the OL space. Thanks guys

Thinking about online training? Buy this book.
Jonathan Goodman consistently delivers super high quality, informative info that you can put into practice immediately. While Viralnomics is my all time fave (so far) this book doesn’t disappoint. So many in person personal trainers eventually reach that point where we realize that working that hard isn’t sustainable. That’s where this book comes in. It’ll lay out step by step the different types on online training, hybrid training and the benefits and downsides of each. Then it gives you the blue print on how to implement it. Worth every penny.Does it make you want to invest in The Online Trainer Academy? Yes. Can you be a successful online trainer with just this book? Yes. Honestly, anything Jon puts out, just buy it. You won’t regret it.

Advertisement of their courses
I was expecting information on getting my fitness classes online, I am already certified as a personal trainer and fitness instructor. Unfortunately this book is for people interested in joining their fitness course. So it was not helpful for me. I have read more info than this on the internet. I have been in this business for 30 years, I have to get recertified every 2 years. There are a lot of respected fitness associations out there, but I have never heard of this one. For me I just bought an advertisement for a trainer course. Maybe others would be interested but I don't know of any gyms or online associations that would except this unknown one. Just my opinion.

This book sets the tone...
...for STRUCTURE; this book gives you the blueprint, principles, and confidence to get your online training business going. Jon’s work speaks for itself as I have followed the original inception of this book since 2013 and have been online training ever since. This book won’t show you ALL the techniques in full detail because you’d have to buy The Essentials of Online Training text. The book you’re contemplating buying is the prelude for you to take your actions a step further by enrolling in the Online Trainer Academy. THAT’S where you get the play-by-play along with the guidance of a dedicated team of fit pros that walk the walk.Full disclosure: the author gave me a free copy pre-release along with the audiobook version. Nonetheless, this is a GREAT resource to get some of your freedom back.

Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant!
Having been a successful PT for over 20 years with my own studio I had always thought about Online Personal Training. I had read a few book by different authors and none of them convinced me that Online would be a smart move. Then I came across Jonathon Goodman. If your new to Online Personal Training or thinking about starting then you have to start with this man. He literally dedicated his life to Online Personal Training and tells you the TRUTH. If you want to make a serious career from Online PT then this book is a great place to start. He doesn't set you up with false promises or leads you to think you can get rich pressing a few keys from your keyboard which many of the others do.This guy is the real deal and coaches you how to be a successful online trainer step by step. Read his books and apply what he says and you will become a online trainer. He is the author of "Ignite the Fire" one of the best books on Personal Training ever written plus he runs the highly respected OTA (Online Trainer Academy) where many of the top online Personal Trainers in the world have graduated from.I would recommend you buy this book if you want a great book on Online Personal Training.

Just a sales pitch, no useful content
This book is nothing but a sales pitch for an online course run by the author. Other than numerous anecdotes about how successful graduates of his course have become, all it really contains is some hand picked quotes from various "self hep" publications. It is essentially a printed version of every Instagram "10k a month PT business" advert, only you have the honour of paying £14.99 for it (if you opt for the kindle version).

Save your money
Don't waste your money on this. It's a quickly thrown together piece of fluff that basically serves as an advert for the author's wider program. Yes, there is some decent common sense advice. But we're talking very basic here. If I was totally clueless on the subject I'd have been ok with spending £5 on this. It's very short and low on quality.
