It's a Taillight; It Worked; Yipee.
It fit my car (2015 Odyssey). It turned on. It's a light. It's 1/10th the cost of having the mechanic do it. Note that the center taillight at the top of the window takes a different bulb. In case you were wondering.

Fitment not correct
Contrary to Amazon's part fitment guide, this doesn't work as a tail.light for Subaru Legacy. It will function as a brake light, but not a tail light. Subaru uses the same bulb for both functions so the correct part is 7443. Wish I'd known that before buying.
