Upper & Lower Serger Knife for Brother 929D 1034D 3034D Viking #XB0563001&X77683001

I bought these after I broke the blade on my Brother 1034d serger by hitting a pin. These were the cheapest option. I did not realize they were coming from China. When I received shipping notification it said it would take 1-2 months. However I was very pleased when the part arrived very quickly. There were no directions and minimal packaging but I was able to replace the broken part quickly and easily. It works great.

I was amazed at how easy they were to install. Work great!

I liked that I could order it and receive it in a tie leaner. The knife worked perfectly, installed easily and I lost very little time in using my sewing machine.

I bought these to replace the knives of my Brother 1034d. I had ruined mine with a pin -I know, bad habit! But since then I've only used pins on the left side of the blades! After the pin incident, the knives were dragging in the fabric(especially rayon knits!)I had never attempted to change them before so I was nervous about doing it myself. But didn't want to spend the $ or time without my serger if I took it to have it serviced. So I just dove in, and found it to be extremely easy!!! Luckily in the 1034d there are metal pieces that they rest up against to hold them at the correct angle.A few things to remember if you're trying to change your knives:1. the lower knife should be flush with the needle plate2. Put them on in the opposite order that you take them off- ex. On mine, I had to take the upper knife off first then the lower. I replaced the lower first then the upper.3. The 1034d has a washer with the upper knife only, which is small and easy to loose. I put it with the screws in my thread catcher & next to the old upper knife while changing so I wouldn't accidentally knock it off the table or loose it. And in keeping it next to the upper knife, I knew which knife it went with.I'm so glad I did it myself, as they cut just as well as it did when I first got it and for a lot less $ than taking it in for repair!

Needed a replacement blade for a Brother 1034D serger, and the Brother brand knife was listed at over $60 including shipping. $60! For one little machine part! Needless to say I was NOT willing to pay that, so this one suited me just fine. It fits the machine perfectly and does the job it's supposed to do. It looks exactly like the one from Brother, but for less than 1/3 of the price. If I need a replacement blade again in the future, I'll be re-ordering this one for sure. Shipping was a little slow, but that's to be expected. For the price, I can stand the wait.

I too broke the upper knife due to a pin left in the garment, I was a little skeptical about purchasing the replacement knives from here because everywhere else I priced was a lot higher and so I thought to myself, somethings up. However, after reading the reviews I did go ahead and ordered from this site and it came quite fast and they work like a charm...

I purchased this replacement serger knife set for my Brother 1034D, after I missed a pin and broke the original. I am extremely upset by the quality of the replacement set I received. I ordered the set from Amazon right after it happened (and right before a two week Disney trip) and haven't had a chance to get to fixing my machine until today. I opened the package two hours ago and these are what I got. Not to mention I can't return them now with Amazon's 30-Day Return Policy. No wonder the bag they come in is opaque. I've included a picture depicting the original knives in my machine, still broken, and the rusty replacement knives (in two different lights) for comparison. I feel like someone found a giant box of serger knives in a damp basement and is trying to sell them off.

So excited that I came across a youtube video explaining how to change out the knife. I had no idea it was so simple and that I could order the piece online. It came it quicker than expected and I have been using it for months now with no issues.
