Perfect, don’t change a thing.
I hope Dockers doesn’t change or stop making these pants. I’ve been buying them for years and each time I need another pair I hold my breath when I look to see if they are still available. The weight and durability of the cotton fabric is perfect. The side pocket is a perfect phone pocket, not too big or bulky. The bit of elastic in the waistband is hidden so they don’t look like old man pants. The cut is relaxed and comfortable without being baggy. They wash and wear easily.Perfect traditional straight guy pants.

My iPhone loves the cargo pocket!
Love these pants! As far as how they fit, I started with a 34W x 32L (my usual size), and after trying them on, felt with the included expansion feature in the waist that I could go down one size in the waist and be even better. I then ordered the smaller 33W x 32L size and found the waist fit nicely yet still had an inch of room to expand if needed. The inseam length is actually 31-3/4" and I only need a 31" inseam. Since this style wasn't available in a 31" inseam, they are a bit long as expected; however, I can fold them up inside at the hem and you can't really tell. As these are all-cotton, I'm sure they will shrink in both the waist and length over time and be just right later on, so I'm keeping all four pairs I later ordered in the 33W x 32L size. I wanted one more pair, so decided to order that additional one in the 32W x 32L size just to see how the fit at the waist and through the seat and thigh would differ. The waist at that size is about perfect for my liking (I like them to be slightly snug and stay up on their own without a belt), but if the waist in this size shrinks a lot, then the waist might become a bit tight over time. This pair with the 32" waist feels like it fits a little better in the seat and thigh, but looking in the mirror and taking pictures of myself, I really can't tell any visual difference. Also, laying the 32" waist pair directly over the 33" waist pair, I don't find any significant difference in any of the other dimensions. I bought these for the convenience of storing a cell phone in the cargo pocket without having to look like I'm wearing cargo pants. My large iPhone 13 Pro Max with a rugged case around it fits nicely in the cargo pocket. It is very comfortable to have the phone in the pocket and the pocket doesn't bulge out like with typical cargo pants. Now, if they only made a version of these in jean material as well, that would be ideal!

Great pants, but they're too big in the waist
Typical cargo pants don't much appeal to me, but these general utility pants have plenty of pocket room, without baggy pockets hanging on the sides. They look like a durable canvas mesh, although they're the first pants that my little dog has managed to tear, so I'm not sure they're all that durable. I consider them much better then what you'll usually find from Dockers and admit that I love them.I like the styling, with the inlaid side pockets and flap pockets in the rear, and the loose fit is very comfortable. All the pockets are very deep for plenty of room to stick things. The colors are also very nice.My only complaint is that they're a little big in the waist. The comfort waistband seems like a great idea, but they're already so big in the waist that I don't need it. I would size down one, which is something I never do with pants, but Dockers doesn't even make the size I would need (why can't Dockers offer the generous sizing options found with Levi's?) This isn't a huge problem and just means they don't fit as well as they should.Overall, I really like these pants and only wish Dockers would make more sizes.Update: My only problem with these pants is that they're really big and not just in the waist. The inseam is also very long and I'm one who usually complains about inseams being too short. Because of this, I rarely wear them anymore, because they're just too big (too baggy, also.) I normally wear size 32x34, so I thought a 31x32 might fit better, but it appears that Dockers doesn't even make that size. Incredibly, if I drop down 1 waist size, I'm forced to drop down 4" in the inseam to a 31x30, which would be far too short for me.

Pleased! Received exactly what was ordered.
Hits all the desired marks for me: size just right, color as expected, appropriate softness and warmth allows for year-round wear, and I found no faults in garment construction. I’m happy with the price paid and give this a full 5 stars (not something I’ve given out very often to clothes bought online).
