Works with my old Hayward incandescent light housing! Everyone loves including me! My old pool fixture and old style non led bulbs would burn out almost immediately. I thought the fixture had gone bad and just stop using my pool light. Then I thought I would take a chance and try this before spending tons of money on new fixture. Works great we really don’t use the remote. Our light is attached to a switch. It is easy to change colors and patterns! Just flip the switch on and off quickly to go through the colors and patterns and stop at the one you like. It has a memory so when I turn the pool light back on it remembers the last one I chose. I also replaced the gasket.

I love solar lights so I think the light is awesome and looks so pretty at night with all my other solar lights in the yard. The blue and green are the most vibrant ones that shine throughout the complete pool. Now, the red is vibrant but only shows halfway up the pool but to be fair, this is how it is in our hot tub. I don't think the red does well in any of these type of lights. The Disco and Party lights flash so fast that I can't handle them. The yellow, cyan, purple, and white are fairly light and not as distinguishable as the others. I think it is worth the money because it brings me so much enjoyment!!!

We called around to our local pool supply stores to see how much it would be to replace our in-ground pool light. The highest quote was $1,200 and the lowest was $700. We put it off for years, but I decided to try it ourselves. We are so glad we did!This light was so easy to install ourselves. It’s bright and the remote is so handy and works from the pool deck as far away from the light as it gets. The ambience of our pool area at night is so relaxing, all thanks to this quality product!

Customer service is the best we have dealt with in years. Product is as described, lights are bright, vibrant and beautiful. Shipped fast. We will definitly use this company excusively for future pool needs.

"500 watt equivalent" is very misleading. I screwed this lamp into a test socket to confirm it worked before installing it into the pool light. I was surprised by how bright it wasn't. I went to a local pool store a purchased a "brand name" replacement bulb (cost $3.00 less) of a lower wattage (35 watts) and it was significantly brighter (lumens) when I compared the two (shining them both on a white wall).IMO, the remote control is unnecessary, poor design and one more thing to break. Most of the "brand name" bulbs do not use a remote; cycling through the colors/schemes is done by quickly turning the light off and on. The bulb may last for 50,000 hrs (10+ years) but I'm quite confident that remote will not (which essentially "breaks" the bulb), especially because it's meant to be used outdoors/near water and is not waterproof...Lastly, I'm sure my product was a return as the cardboard thread protector was outside of the bulb bag and the remote did not include a battery.Very disappointed, would NOT recommend this product unless you don't have any other options.

10/10 such a great product. Such a good light at a great price point! Fantastic support from company as well when troubleshooting how to use. Will be buying more products from them in the future!

My light fixture leaked, was worried about the led bulb. I contacted the seller. They responded that day, and offered a free replacement bulb! Morally, I had a hard time with that, as it was not their fault, so I purchased another. They were responsive and really helped. I heartily recommend this!BTW, if installing this in the Pentair Amerlite fixture, make sure you use a new gasket, and maybe a little silicone sealant.
