These are worth the money. A quick background. I had ordered other wall mounts. They got lost in the mail. So, I put in an order for Anchor Gym mounts. The other mounts were a lot less expensive. I decided to go with these Anchor Gym, the more expensive option after reading reviews. Lo and behold BOTH sets of mounts showed up on the same day. WHAT a difference. On the cheap option, the box was busted open, the screws were all loose, and the paint was already peeling off. I opened the Anchor Gym order. Each mount was boxed up separately (see pictures). I could feel a difference. The Anchor Gym mounts are super heavy duty. They are not painted. They feel like solid steel. The difference is insane. These are high quality mounts. If you are debating between getting a cheaper version or these, learn from my mistake and buy the Anchor Gym mounts. They are worth the money.

Like others have said, this is a very sturdy and well-made product. The thickness of the metal and overall solidness are impressive. I have only used it for a few days but it has not budged even slightly when I put almost my full weight (220 lbs) on it when using rings.Installation was a little trickier than expected. In order to attach it solidly you need to find a stud, and the heavy lag screws that are used to attach it have a hex head, so you'll need a socket wrench to drive them. This makes sense, the screw you need will be too heavy to drive with a screwdriver. You'll need to drill a pilot hole with 3/16" bit. The holes in the plate that receive the screws are not a lot bigger than the screw diameter, so you'll need to drill carefully. Your best bet is to drill top hole first and screw the top screw in almost all the way. Then you can level the mounting plate and drill the 2nd pilot hole through the opening in the plate. This reduces the chance of drilling the hole in the wrong place. There are no installation instructions shipped with the product, instead you get a url to a website with the instructions, but they are pretty simple. In summary, to install you need a drill with 3/16" bit, a socket wrench set, and a level if you care about having the plate perfectly level (probably unnecessary).

I bought this to use with my fitness ropes. It is sturdy and with the size and weight of the hardware screws that were included, I doubt it will ever be anything but 100% securely fixed. Just remember and make sure where you install it is where you want it because it is not going anywhere else so thanks.

When I opened thr box it was bigger than I expected....heavy and solid!!!!! Be sure to screw into a stud if you are mounting into a wall....I use it everyday and never think twice. It has a good aesthetician as well.

The media could not be loaded. I own a physical therapy clinic and the H1 was the perfect solution to my needs for both wall and ceiling mounts. After finding a stud on the ceiling and wall, I easily installed several of these anchors. I use this anchor for TRX suspension straps, TRX Rip Stick and resistive bands. I'm also an aerial acrobat and have used the anchor for my lyra (hoop) and aerial hammock. The open hook allows me to easily interchange equipment and the t-bar keeps things from slipping off. Such a brilliant invention! I'm able to completely hang from my TRX equipment and am confident when clients pushing 300 lbs are pulling from it.

Worked really well and mounted easily. A little pricey for what it is, but it solves the problem quickly and easily, so I guess that’s worth something :)

This product is, by far, the smartest thing I’ve purchased in the last 18 months. Best part? I accidentally threw away the user manual and submitted a customer service inquiry to ask about the drill bit size. Got a call 3 mins later and it was the founder!!!! Told me 1/4in drill bit, gave me guidance on how deep to drill into the stud, and helped me with how to properly secure our TRX bands. Is this real life?!Blown away by this product and the customer service. Inspired to open a gym just so I can buy 1,000 of these suckers and support this badass company.
