This is a big project that will take a day to do. A project I didn't want to get into in. A tree crushed the cab in a storm, body shop is installing a new cab, let them do it. They are no strangers to the request either. They don't do electrical, they leave you with lead lines. The first light works, the other 4 don't. Until I drop the interior and get into the wiring I can't tell you if the body shop failed to connect the wires or the wires have failed connections.I knew better and do automotive custom lights and wiring. I should have tested them before I handed them to the shop to install. Standard idiot plug wiring, while possible, I am doubtful the installers messed up.A note to the Amazon overlords and PC police, idiot plug is an actual, common term in direct current wiring.

Everything seemed great until it came to the bulb sockets. They're essentially rubber. So as you try to put the bulb in, it squishes into the housing. So now you have to drop your headliner to put the socket back. Just an epically poor design. Otherwise it's a great kit. But this is a big deal, as whenever you need to change one of the bulbs you may have to drop the headliner to do it.

I installed these on my 2000 f350 in about 5 hrs including the time it took to take my headliner down and run the wires for them.They come with gaskets but I added some clear RTV as cheap insurance since the bottoms of these are flat and the cab is a little bit rounded.They seem a little breakable so take it easy on the screw tightness. I personally didn't have a problem but I was pretty careful.good product and cheaper than recons.

For the looks and ease of installation I give the lights 5 stars, but my lights came with standard yellow bulbs not LED as they were advertised. I could have returned the entire package and purchased the lower cost units that were not advertised as LED. My truck was in the body shop and needed the lights at the time that I ordered them, so I installed the units I was shipped and then purchased LED bulbs separately in order to make these LED.So, the units look great, but they may not be shipped to you with LED's instead you may get standard yellow bulbs.

These look great. They were not hard to install, it just takes some time. When drilling holes in the cab of your truck you want to make sure they are in the correct place!!!

Had installation at a good shop and lights are just what I wanted. Good deal. Packaging and instructions were spot on.
