I got these in hopes that they may deter mosquitoes and other bugs from my outdoor area. I’m not sure if they will help yet, but I can tell you that there are adorable and worth it just as decorations! This set came with a LOT of dragonflies. The group you see me holding in my photo is only half of what you get. As you go to use each one, be sure to open their wings to help them stay open. The wire there are attached to can be inserted into your plants or other areas (not in my second photo I inserted them into the wicker on the back of my chair!). You can also bend the wire - using a pair of pliers will help - to wrap them around things. The dragonflies are light but well-made. The wire is stiff, but also long and flexible enough to make the dragonflies look like they are moving in the wind which is the look you’re going for in deterring insects. I’ve heard of people attaching these to their hats when they are gardening - I can see myself pushing one of the wires through the back of my visor so the dragonfly is perched above my head. Again, I’m not sure if these will work as a deterrent, but one way or the other I’m glad I got them because they sure are cute!

Not bad, but the ones that made me look to purchase the wings were separate. These wings are all, as if laid flat and pressed together. My fault did not see it too well in the picture. But OK they look pretty :)

Vivid colors. Sturdy, lifelike.

I was skeptical when buying these, but thought would give a try anyway. I don't like sprays or burning coils or stick repellents.I placed the dragon Flys around on my porch ( you can push the wires into small cracks in the wood, just make sure they are straight up ). I also placed a few in the shrub beds.Ni more mosquitos. Plus, I've noticed more real dragon flys coming around and landing close by the fake ones. It's hard to believe, but this product seems to be working. ( one other tip, sprinkle old coffee grinds around shrub beds and areas of mosquitos. They don't like coffee grinds, so maybe that's helped too. )Peace and tranquility unto you all...

Very cheap and not what I thought I was ordering. They look cheap and nothing like I saw in the pictures. No clips , the wings don’t spread out and they to not look even a close facsimile to real dragon flies.Very disappointing

These are super cute. I bought them to deter flies from my chicken coop. I don't know if they work yet. For those that claim there is only one wing - there are two wings just open them up to separate them. Geez.

Cute for the garden. Did you know dragonfly’s help keep flys out of your garden. Just wish the poles were longer
