I purchased this as a gift for my brother who has back problems but likes to do his meditation sitting on the floor. It is solid thick and provides a wonderful amount of support for the back. It’s not really big and it’s not really small it’s made to fit directly under you and not around you. He says it helps and was pleased with the gift.

I am a huge fan of sitting on the floor, but with a bad back I know it's not always the best thing for me. So, I purchased one of these since I liked my last one so much. I purchased the green one, & the color is a bit darker than pictured but 1. I know that colors aren't always a perfect match from screen to real life, & 2. it's gorgeous regardless. As far as functionality, it does what it's supposed to do, so I have no complaints on that front. It's my spouse's preferred place to sit when I'm braiding his hair & he doesn't complain, so it's a win-win.

I bought this cushion so I can change my meditation practice location from one seated in a chair to legs folded on the floor. I used to use a zafu at the Tai Chi school that I went to and was hoping to get one that was similar to the one that I used there. I actually like this one even more.I waited for about a little over a week to review it so I can make sure that how I felt on day one wasn't just the excitement of getting something new delivered. I'm still getting used to sitting on the floor for longer periods of time (my legs aren't as flexible as they were 10 years ago but they're getting there) and the zafu also makes a good cushion for when I have to do the meditation on a chair for a while since my legs were going numb from sitting cross legged. This Zafu is both firm and soft and I can see using it for years to come.

Listen. I have a boney ass. And as I sit here on this lil pink cushion, I am supported. I am embraced. I did some yoga moves and the beans don't move around and reduce my stability. It's great. AND it's pink. Should have bought sooner.
