it works
It produces authentic sound, but doesn't project as well as I'd like. The Lohman call produces the same call, but with greater volume, however both are great calls

when I call the quail they respond and keep there distance while I feed them.

Doesn’t sound quite right, I was able to get a few quail to call back. I bought this because sportsman’s warehouse was out of the call I like.

brother in law likes murdering animals.
so i got him this as he requested because i don’t know what else to get a county boy. i tried it out before i gave it to him. it is was fun but was just a rubber band on a piece of wood haha

AZ Quail
I really enjoy calling game and have used many different types of calls. That being said I have never used a quail call. I got this one because a friend recommended it and I'm glad I did. It is spot on and works well for all western quail. I use it mostly for Gambels and have gotten several replies putting me right on the birds.
