I have purchased two of these... one works and one doesn't. They company will not exchange if the one they send you is faulty... you simply have to buy another one! This company doesn't refund or replace this item so you best hope that it arrives undamaged and in working order. Possibly a good inverter, I have only had the working one a week.Buyer beware! This company will not stand behind their product!

I was going to purchase a 5000 watt pure wave inverter, but after comparing different models and reviews , I finally choose SUNGOLDPOWER 4000w pure sine wave. I am happy I did. It has been very handy!! It will run the air conditioner, along with every other Appliance, as well as the washing machine and water pump. The remote is handy too. Looking to see more surprise.

240 split phase, Very heavy. Fed Ex delivered to the wrong address.The manual is missing the 4000W split phase 240VAC version drawing.I have only bench tested this so far, OK, I floor tested it as it was to heavy to put on the bench. I started with connecting the battery (Big Battery Luma) 48V 5.3KWh). Checked the settings and set to 60Hz, 3 sec Power Saver Mode.Powered on the BatteryPowered on the Inverter in normal mode.Checked the output L1, L2, N and got 121VAC 60Hz on both legs and 242 VAC 60Hz on between L1 and L2. Exactly what I expected.Used a 1200W heat gun as a load and it worked perfect, the Inverter drew 22A at 48V from the battery when tested on each leg.At this point I started experimenting with the power saver mode (this shuts down the inverter if no current is being drawn and powers up for 250ms every 3 to 30 seconds to see if there is a load, nice feature). It requires a minimum of 25W to turn on the inverter. On L1 to N it worked perfect, On L2 to N it did not. My assumption is they only sense current on L1. I contacted the factory and they did not confirm this, but it is something to watch out for especially if you plan to plug a 120V refrigerator into this. Knowing this unit is normally default to 50Hz it makes sense that they could save money for EU by only sampling one leg.Connected the external 240V to run the charger, it worked as expected. I set the charging current to 20A.This can run in UPS mode, but claims it is not fast enough to keep your computer running, so it is best to have a local UPS on there.I will follow up as I get this installed with the solar system.

POWERS ALL FREEZERS AND REFRIGERATORS WITH SOME LIGHTING. LOST POWER MANY TIMES AND INVERTER IMMIDEATLY TOOK OVER. I WORKED WITH SUN GOLD PEOPLE ON ISSUES AND THEY TOOK CARE OF THE PROBULUM. THEIR FACE BOOK PAGE HAS MUCH INFORMATION.

The inverter seems to be very will built. It was received on time and packed well. I had a couple of questions and their tech support answered clearly and promptly by email. I purchased this model for the split phase capability. I am using this as a emergency power source for my house. The remote function also works well. The manual is well written. If there is a model with a 120vac battery charger, that would be useful.

Product performs as expected. Solid built easy to configure. Vendor had been responsive to shipping adjustments. The unit performs well charging my 48v battery bank and for seamlessly providing load to multiple devices throughout the home.

Still have to plug the unit inLooks like a very well made itemCompany was very prompt in issuing refund on first purchase that I made incorrectly
