It works 2000 Protege DX?
Thinkcar OBD 100 scanner shows no fault codes after installing this AIP TPS. Not so easily installed because of the position on the throttle body. Had to remove the brake booster hose. Had to make sure of the contact on the blade from the throttle. Otherwise, did not drop a bolt, that's a new one. No fault codes, but the IAC valve has got to be filthy. I raised the idle, it is in the tunnel on the throttle body. Counter clockwise raises the idle. Next is the IAC valve and I believe I will purchase the more expensive AIP brand so far very good parts. I think you got a customer.

Did not work for 2001 Miata LS
Rough idling and would cut out the engine in very inopportune situations. Replaced it with one from AutoZone, car ran fantasticly from first crank.

Works great!
It fits perfectly on my 99 Miata non turbo. Shift points are where they should be and it seems to cause the automatic transmission to shift smoother than before. I would buy it again.

Does not fit 2004 Miata
This sensor does not fit my 2004 Miata, the plug is different from the OEM sensor.
