This review is for the NewTrent Lightning Cable NT-L3WI lose cables like crazy. I’m often on the road, staying at motels/hotels/ and with friends, and invariably manage to leave a cable behind about every 3-4 months! I have been VERY careful with my iPad cable because they are more costly than the other, and not as easy to come by.I came across this cable by New Trent and since I have had such good luck with their other products, decided to try it. It arrived very quickly and I immediately checked to make sure it would do both data syncing and charging. This has been a problem in the past – not all cables are created equal, some will not data sync and only charge. The New Trent cable did both data syncing and charging without any problems. The cable is not a flimsy wire, but actually has some substance to it and feels like it will hold up well.If you are looking for a solid, well built, Lightning cable for your Apple device, I recommend you give this one a try.

The New Trent Lightning Cable works exactly like the original Apple cable. I tested this cable with my iPhone 6 plus and my iPad Air 2, and both were able to charge and transmit data without any issues. I tried several different wall outlets, battery packs and computers and all worked fine. Some MFI certified cables don't charge my iPad Air 2 when connected to the USB port on my computer since it requires more power, but the New Trent cable works without any problems.I like New Trent's cable more than the OEM Apple cable because it is thicker and feels like it can take a beating. It is also slightly longer than the Apple cable.This is now my go to cable, since the quality of the cable is superior to Apple's cable at a much lower price.The only issue I found with this cable is that the connector that connects to the iPhone is slightly larger than the Apple cable, so if you have a case with a small opening for the cable, it might not fit, or it might fit tightly.I would still recommend this cable to anyone looking to purchase a replacement cable.

Must admit, I've purchased many lightning to USB cables for my (and family's) Apple devices, if I see a promotion or a sale, I pick one up, because they just seem to disappear or worst - stops working with the message that the cable is not recognized by the device. Then a friend told me I should only purchase cables that are "Apple certified", duh...So, I purchased this New Trent Lightning to USB cable in white (3ft) and yes, it's Apple MFI certified, to use mainly with the car charger for my new iPhone 6 plus.I received this item within 2 days of placing the order, it arrived in a padded envelope. At first glance, the cable is thicker than Apple's, the Lightning connecting cap was also larger, I was worried that it wouldn't fit through the case I had, but it was needless, perfect fit.It worked as promised, charged the iPhone 6 plus in no time with both the wall and car charger, and was recognized right away by my lap top and desk top.I have purchased several items from New Trent, the product are very well made, well designed and priced well. Will be my go to for electronic accessories.

As with all Arcadia products, I like the simple packaging. Easy to open box and a zip top bag make this easy to access.This is a thick cable. This helps keep it from kinking while in storage or use. The ends are connected to the cord with a thick collar; I like this because it will reduce the chance of broken cord ends. This had been a problem with Apple connectors and it seems that the problem has been solved here.The USB end is standard size and fit into every USB port I tried it on. The Lightning end is a little thicker than the Apple cord’s end. I was worried that it would cause a problem with charging iPhones and iPads in their protective cases. So far it has not. To me, this makes the cord worth its weight in gold. Too many aftermarket cords have ends that won’t fit into protective cases. This is a major selling point in my book.This is one of the best Apple certified cords I have used.This is a great cord for people into sports or those with children.
