Easy to install and operate. I installed them a week ago and they are working great. I have 4 new Anderson sliders and they are working perfectly. I have one older slider and that one does not have enough clearance between the glass doors as they slide for this product to work, so I will need a different lock setup on that. The device when closed (in the unlocked position ) is 7/16 wide, so a clearance of 1/2 inch or greater is needed between your sliding doors for this product.

Pretty simple. Not sure the reason Im using it for will be strong enough to keep in a 90 year old with dementia
