For anyone that is serious about shelling, I highly recommend this! I don’t she’ll just to shell, I’ve been doing it so long I try to collect shells I don’t yet have unless I find sand dollars that have already died. This was amazing on my last trip to the Gulf Coast of Florida! My kids even found sharks teeth :) Worth every penny.

This is the sturdiest shell scooper I have ever used. I already have one and thought I would buy a cheaper version for guests. That was a mistake. The cheaper version broke the first time out. So I ordered another of this brand knowing it will last.

Sturdy handle, nice grip, extends a long way, quality hardware. Great for scooping shells at the beach. My spouse loves it, too.

Very sturdy project I use it to dig through piles of shells relentlessly to find shark teeth in this thing does amazing extremely sturdy does not seem to rest love that it extends, highly recommend

I bought this to pick up shark teeth but the mesh is too small and they just fall through, so it doesn't work for that, unless you find a really big one. That's why I gave it only a 4 star. It is great for picking up larger shells and is very well made. I like to also use it as a walking stick. I don't have the extra tip that you can purchase separately, I just use the little basket.

Best purchase ever! I use it for both the ocean and Great Lakes beach hunting. Saves the back and for those cold weather hunts, saves the feet from freezing. Very durable. Hasn’t bent from use. This is my second one I purchased. First one was purchased 7 years ago and still in great shape even after lifting some heavy items, which I wouldn’t recommend. It’s been used for beach combing and picking up buckeyes from the ground. Love the walking stick and the extra length on the new one.

I don’t love the PVC scoop Richard made for me, so I splurged on this one. Love it! It’s light and collapsible. With the zipper open a tiny bit, I can carry it in my backpack with the top 8 inches or so sticking out. I’ve used it 3 times with good results. I didn’t anticipate ever sharing my sand dipper, but he enjoyed hiking with it as a walking stick today. I squatted down by the river with just the scoop part to hunt for agates. Richard poked at rocks and flipped them over, which allowed him to hunt mostly upright and avoid at least some of the back strain of bending/squatting. I’d barely even noticed that it could be used as a walking stick since I’ve never liked hiking that way, but it’s a really nice feature.

So far it seems sturdy will find out this weekend
