It works.
so if you are new to proxmark like I was it can have a steep learning curve. First off this thing does work even though its a knock off. It requires flashing the firmware as stated in other reviews but you must know that it is Proxmark3 easy and that makes a difference in the update. You will need to compile this as PM3OTHER and not RDV4 which is default in the newest software. once you figured that nugget out the rest of it gets a little better as the need to keep the button depressed as you plug in the usb goes away after the update. If your device disappears after you update and you did not disconnect its probably going to need you to redo it again.After getting the proxmark software going I was able to see it and read it but I did notice that the lf em 4x05read command was super touchy. My first initial read gave my 1 result but placement is everything as the antenna is super weak on this device. I had to retry at least a dozen times to get the rfid tag to show up and dozen more to write it.

Operational Proxmark3 Easy
Operational Proxmark3 Easy arrives with older firmware, but can be updated via USB. Not for technical novices!Bootloader, OS, and Firmware can call be flashed. However, once new bootload is installed, the device may not reappear on USB bus for OS and update UNLESS you keep its little button depressed. Holding the button may required through the entire OS/firmware flash sequence.Once up and running, talks to Proxmark3 client perfectly.There is no battery nor antenna connector for this device. Power is via USB and HF and LF antennas are connected via the brass standoffs.

Works perfectly once it's set up
This doesn't come with the latest firmware loaded, but it's not intended for people who aren't tech savvy, so anyone who buys it should be capable of following the configuration steps online. This is a diagnostic tool for professionals or hobbyists, not for general consumers. Under $50 is also a good price for such an advanced tool.

Works for kyber crystals
Needed this to rewrite a Kyber crystal to change the rfid tag for a galaxy’s edge lightsaber. It works perfectly. That’s all I have used it for.

Cool beans
This thing is awesome! It's pretty amazing that such a piece of technology is available at an affordable price. It's definitely not user friendly but there are tons of resources made available by the online community. For setup, Google ProxSpace and you should be able to find something on how to flash it

So Far So Good
Just got it, was able to flash the newest precompiled Iceman firmware, replacing the weird chinese fork that this ships with. Works with stock proxmark3 software after that.

Very good tool.
Works as expected. Of course I update the firmware and I didn't had any issue. I even used it as standalone and that's works as expected too. Definitely not a tool for everyone but a very good one for standard usages.

I received this and was able to flash proxmark3 iceman firmware and have been successful in cloning several tags so far!!
