Received the tiny package early. Earlier that day, the seller emailed with instructions on how to program. The same thing was on the instructions but I appreciated the email because the print on the paper was so small.I have gates in my complex to enter and exit by remote plus my garage remote. The gates are the 9 dip switch style of unknown brand/frequency. The garage is a yellow button Chaimberlan. It was impossible trying to find on universal remote to work on all three in this combination. The Xihada remote programmed immediately (I recommend placing both remotes next to each other on a flat surface while programming). The programming for all three on the new remote is identical with the exception of the garage which requires you to complete the programming by pressing the yellow learn button and then your new programmed button.I haven't tested the range or battery life yet but so far so good. I'm tempted to buy another one as a backup.

I have never been able to find out what freqency the Pilot 4 Channel Remote Control operated on, so I spent extra money to purchase a cloning remote that covered all the common fregencies. The XIHADA worked. It took a couple of tries to position the Pilot remote aganist XIHADA for the XIHADA to put up and clon the signal for each of the 4 channels, but once I found the sweet spot the XIHADA grabbed each channel quickly, very quickly.I still don't know what freqency the Pilot operates on, but I now have a back up remote. Why would I spend $20 bucks for a remote to operate with a $35 dollar device? The Pilot controls the wheel chair lift and doors on my van. I don't like being stranded! I do have a complete new Pilot system, I could simply unplug on and plug in new, but I have to be able to get the doors open,,,,, by myself to make the trade out.I rated the 4 out of 5 as it needs a larger and maybe stronger hole for a key change attachment, and the device also should have an on/off switch, especially when you consider it is controlling a powerful and potentially dangerous piece of equipment like my wheel chair lift.

This remote was recommended by my neighborhood security for the gates, I ordered 2 and only one can get programmed, also I can’t get the garage door to program to it. It is very frustrating.

Configured for Lift Master garage door and DKS gate. Set up was a bit cumbersome, but not too bad. Absolutely use the original remotes during a setup, a previous clone for some reason did not work.Overall, this remote works better than the originals.

Wanted this for my work vehicle to open my antiquated genie garage door. Didn't work for that no matter how much I tried. But it did work for my space heater which is great since Im able to keep a remote by my bed and my desk to control it. Easy enough to setup and use. Still wish it would of worked for the garage

We had 3 different issues; 1) a rolling code garage door opener, 2) dip-switch controlled access gate and 3) dedicated higher frequency access gate that we needed on a single remote. This device did it. The instructions are good BUT pay special attention to 1) no battery on original device near the duplicating device and 2) the original device must be real close, like only a quarter of inch away. Doing this and everything works great!

Worked on a garage door and two community gates using only the original remotes. Buying a couple spares.
