Q: Will this replace a jldq 11.156.204d? replaced the button and it worked for a little bit then quit. so assume it's the motor now.

Look on the original part, use that specific replacement component. Do not substitute. I replaced mine six months ago, use it everyday and it is still working. It does not come with the button. That is a separate part.

Q: Will this replace jldq-6.156.204?

It depends on the shaft that you have in your old chair I have bought two of them for my sectional couch and they work but my metal shaft that slides it is a total of 17 1/2 inches if you get one too big it won’t work if you get one too short it won’t reclined all the way back

Q: will this replace ML8-027 recliner chair motor?

Try replacing the switch first! 10 bucks.If that doesn't work then the motor.
