Cooled my XPS15, easier than expected
I put it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes and then cut it with an Exacto knife. Most of my cuts were clean but there was a little tearing like the heat tape was dried out. I also wished it was a bit more sticky so I could ensure placement where I wanted. Since the back cover of the XPS15 sat on the tape, the tape stayed in place and worked perfectly for transferring heat and cooling my computer.Previous to the heat tape, my XPS15 fan would run on high, even when no applications were open. I had tried loading a previous BIOS and running ThrottleStop to undervolt my processor but this wasn't enough to keep my XPS15 quiet. I put the XPS15 away and decided to write it off as a bad purchase.Several weeks later, I installed the heat tape. I now use the XPS15 every day for work. I don't work it too hard. I connect to other computers with MSTSC. If I run a video, the fan will start after a couple of minutes. But the noise is nothing like what it made prior to the heat tape and without any applications running at all.Note: the amount of heat tape was just enough for me to cover the chips that were running hot. I didn't have any left over. If you are in doubt, you might consider buying two of these. If you are reading this, you probably suspect that have a use for heat tape. Maybe it will help you too. At the very least, it is a very cheap experiment. For me, it made my favorite laptop usable again.

Works great, easy to install.
Used it on my xps13 9343, core temps haven't gone past 80 with multiple programs like Premiere, Photoshop, Chrome, Solidworks etc running concurrently. Bottom of the laptop does get hot (as expected) so I use it on a table/desk. Installation was a breeze, no adhesive needed as the pad is sufficiently sticky and easy to cut to the desired shape too. Note that it sticks to the bottom aluminium cover of the laptop (of course it has to be in contact with this bottom cover in order to pass heat to it) which means it takes some nudging to get this cover off whenever you need to take this bottom aluminium cover off.

Ok, not great
I had a scenario where it was really hard to mount my CPU without squeezing out a considerable amount of thermal paste. I was hoping this would do the trick. It was ok, my I was just not pleased with the heat transfer. Went back to the paste option and got it going.I have since reused it on an older CPU and it works fine. So I'd use it again for less intensive items, just not my gaming rig.

Very good quality
Worked really good for video card cooling

Significant;y decreased my laptop's CPU temperature
I placed a section of this thermal pad onto my XPS 13 9360r (i7 8550u)'s cpu heatsink and saw my temperatures drop significantly throughout the cpu intensity range. It now idles below 40 C whereas it previously was in the 50s and 60s. It acts as an insulatior so my CPU no longer spikes in temperature while the frequency turbos up for a short period of time. While it can still peak at 99 degrees, it settles around 75-85 during intense workloads rather than maintaining 99.The obvious downside is that the bottom of my laptop gets significantly hotter than before, and can occasionally become uncomfortably hot, even through clothing. Additionally, as it acts as an insulator, it holds heat longer than it did before and my fan will stay on + temps will stay higher for up to 2 minutes after the intensive action is completed.Other than that, this tiny piece of thermal padding between my heatsink and the metal backing of my laptop hopefully adding to the lifespan of my laptop, and increasing my performance bc it no longer throttles.

Good enhancement for my Acer Predator
The pad is sufficient for 1 laptop.Easy to cut to size. The plastic folio is a bit hard to remove. Thickness is exactly right.I does not have a very good adhesion, but that is good actually, b/c a layer of adhesion reduces the thermal efficiency. This pad, together with a better paste, reduced the CPU temperature by 15 degrees Celsius on my Acer Predator. If you have a gaming laptop that regularly goes over 85 degrees Celsius: apply this pad and some quality paste. There are many videos on youtube on how to do this for your laptop, it is easy. Done in 20 minutes.

Great upgrade for the PS4 Pro’s pads
I used this for a 7200 model PS4 Pro, which is quieter than the 7000 and 7100 models, but still not the best when playing 4K Pro enabled games. The original thermal pads and thermal paste on PS4 Pro(all PS4 Models really) are of poor quality and the paste was already dry when I opened the 7200 model up. So, I installed the new pads on the vrms and memory rams, plus Thermal Grizzly Kyronaut paste.System is much more quieter and cools better too. 1.5 thermal pads worked well for me.Great purchase.

Works well
Seem working well. Easy to install. However, the size of pad is pretty small
