After continued fighting with the IWE system I had I was at my limit. These were a simple install and a great solution for problematic wheel engagement, OEM and aftermarket part failures and odd programing for engagement when hot or cold. The slight down side is a mileage per gallon reduction but it was hardly noticeable and there might be some increased wear on some of the driveline parts. Hey a lot of 4WD are live axel without problems so if ya hate that grinding and not having 4WD when you need it this might be a good fix for ya

Replaced the IWE, completed new hub and vacuum switch and in one year the IWE failed again and ruined the new hub as well.Replaced the hub again and went with these in my 08 ford f150.Worked great, when I need my 4x4 I need it now, not in a few weeks after fixing it again.This was an easy fix and what I should have done in the first place. 4x4 works great and every time now with confidence.

So I went and had the front end worked on after it was all done I heard this grinding noise in the front end took it back to another mechanic and he got me these grinding gone thank you so much work perfect

The media could not be loaded. Makes steering feel a little heavier, but it’s the first time in life of my gen one roush that I was able to do a 4x4 launch without a complete IWE come apart.Should have done this 10 years ago…

Works just like described no longer having to worry about the cheap plastic ones stripping out.

So glad i went with this option. High quality and fairly easy to install. No noticable gas mileage differences. If your thinking about installing these just do it. I had problems from the get go with those junky vacuum actuators. Terrible design ford!

Fit perfectly on my 13 Raptor. Deletes the junky Ford IWE vacuum 4x4 system. Never have to worry about it breaking again. And the extra wear on the diff/axles/hub due to them spinning all the time is extremely minimal. I wouldn’t worry about it.
