A Little Dab Will Do It!
I have been using Morton Salt Substitute for years to substitute my use of table salt as I have hypertension. This salt substitute is compatible with all of the meals that I cook, and I cook everything. There is no aftertaste. It seasons my food well, works well, as if I was using real table salt. It has the right amount of texture and you only need to use a small amount as it has enough potency in it so you don't have to overload your dish with too much salt. I keep it on my counter with all of my other condiments so it easy to get to. I will continue to use this salt substitute, it's a lifer for me. Try it and you want be disappointed!

If you’re cutting salt, this is something.
Is this a 1-1 for regular salt? Nope. But it’s reminiscent of salt, and adds some flavor. Not a sharp taste like real salt, but a pleasant savory aftertaste. A good option if you’ve got a severe case of the blands. Let’s be honest, certain foods like eggs and potatoes and popcorn really suffer without good old sodium. Not a perfect replacement by a long shot, but it helps. There are dozens of tasty sugar substitutes, but not much out there for us poor cardiac patients!

Very close to actual salt flavor, same texture as salt.
Although not an exact match for the taste of real salt, it's pretty close. There's a slight metallic after taste, but most of the time I don't even notice it. I use this just for flavoring my food when I sit down to eat. Not perfect but for a salt substitute that also gives the benefit of your daily potassium needs, this is a great product. I'd recommend it for anyone trying to reduce their sodium intake.

IT's actually pretty okay... a good salt substitute if you cannot have sodium.
This is just fine if you cannot have sodium. Read my review of Nu-Salt Substitute Shaker, 3 Ounce. I think these taste just like that and have all the same advantages and disadvantages. Advantages are that it's better than not using any salty flavoring at all, it's good for your heart and blood pressure, won't swell your legs or anything, and is quite acceptable as a substitute even though slightly different in taste than actual salt, and even though your tongue will tingle if you eat way too much of it on such things as popcorn. As I said in my other review, if you cannot eat salt, then just "suck it up" and use this instead and decide you're going to enjoy it. You will! It's okay!

Inedible
Completely inedible for me, I used a small amount on a meal and it made it taste metallic like I was eating corroded iron. I would rather just cut back on sodium all together then continue using this.

Great flavor to foods
As someone who is conscious of their health, I searched for ways to reduce my sodium intake without sacrificing flavor in my meals. I have been using this salt-free potassium chloride as a substitute for table salt. I am happy to report that it has been a great addition to my diet. Not only does salt-free potassium chloride provide flavor to meals, but it also offers health benefits. Check out Dr Gregor's videos on salt substitutes impact to blood pressure on the nutritionfacts website and the numerous studies on benefits of potassium. With other home remedies and diet changes I have gone from 140+/90+ BP to normal 120/80.I also appreciate that this product is versatile and can be used in a variety of dishes with my favorites being soup and popcorn. It has become a staple in my kitchen and I highly recommend.

Healthier way to spice up my food
Sometimes my ankles swell, so eliminating salt has helped a lot! This is a great way to still make my food taste great without the harmful effects of too much sodium!
