It Does The Job!
After I moved to our new place, having left our previous home theater behind, I needed to install a new 5.1 surround system in our new media room. Nothing fancy, but not bad for a retirement home. I purchased a speaker system, but it didn't come with mounting brackets. I found the VideoSecu 5 Black Universal Satellite system bracket kit on Amazon and ordered it, along with speaker wire and other items. The brackets were well packed and came with clear instructions. I marked, on the walls, where I wanted to place the brackets and got to work. I completed the installations, including the wiring, within a few hours. The attached photos show the front center speaker mount. I just laid the center speaker on top. That's all you need to do. The other photos show the right front speaker and the left surround speaker. The mounts are solid and have not moved out of position over the last several months of use. I'm very happy with the mounts and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended!Pros:- Everything you need in the box.- Complete instructions.- Easy installation.- Solid performance.Cons:- Can't think of anything.

MUCH Better than the cheap plastic ones (Gang Box Wall Plate Install)
Energy Take Classic (~2.9 lbs) mounted directly into gang box coverplates:I originally bought the cheap plastic "10 lbs" rated ones that are sold under multiple brand names and quickly realized I had bought junk. Concerns about overtightening the set screws and damaging the plastic are valid. Plus if a set screw slipped it would come apart and drop your speaker. I'm not mounting expensive speakers, but they REALLY did not make me comfortable and I abandoned that completely. This product, the VideoSecu mounts, are the real deal and the right way to do it at a still cheap cost. Firstly, these are made of metal, smaller and have a very robust design for capturing and biting the pivoting ball. As a professional mechanical engineer, I approve! No need to go for anything more expensive than these, in my opinion, and the relatively cheap price is worth the confidence they give you.I quickly shifted my plan to mount directly into the wall plates of my pre-wired gang boxes - best decision ever. I aligned the top hole of the mount w/ the top hole of the wall plate and then marked and drilled a hole in the plate where the bottom mount hole fell. Then I drilled another hole about 1/2" below that for the speaker wire to pass through. To assemble, I put in a #10 (overkill but I had it) machine bolt w/ lock-washer and nut through the bottom mount hole and the first hole I drilled. Then, just threaded the speaker wire through the lower hole I drilled and installed the whole plate assembly on the gang box using the #8 x 1.25" screws that were present. The top screw secures the top of the mount and wall plate at the same time.Extremely please with the install, didn't spend >$100 on "wall plate specific mounts", and didn't booger up my walls. Love it.

Good cheap little speaker mount
Work great on my NHT superzeros. I rest the bottoms of them on the wall. They’re 6lb speakers and you can tighten the bracket enough to support them straight out barely. If your resting speakers, this will work with heavier speakers for sure, but I question if they could hold them straight upright.

Simple, Sturdy, Everything included
These are sturdy, simple speaker mounts that each come with a straight or L-shaped arm, adapters to fit ANY type home theater speaker (fits all sizes of threaded holes or keyhole slots, whatever your speaker has), and all hardware needed to mount to concrete or to wood wall studs (for drywall/sheetrock walls--mounting to drywall only with no stud behind is not recommended). Simple, works great, and looks great. Swivels to any position once mounted.*My one comment: a hex key (alan wrench) is required to tighten the mounting arm in the bracket, once it's positioned where you want it. NO hex key is included, oddly. This is not a deal-breaker, though, it's a great product.

My center channel speaker is about 9lbs and while the mount is working great for me
These exceeded my expectations. They're simple, well made, and not ugly. Plus they include a ton of different types of mounting hardware for maximum flexibility. It's not clear from the pictures and description, but it includes five complete sets of all the various mounting pieces. This includes concrete mounting inserts, two sizes of threaded mounts, keyhole-style mounts, two styles of ball joints (straight shaft or bent), and they even throw in two zip ties per mount.Caveat: 10lbs really is pushing the limit. My center channel speaker is about 9lbs and while the mount is working great for me, it's basically hanging straight down. If I wanted it in a tilted position, I'm not sure this would work since the ball joint clamp wouldn't be strong enough to hold it in position due to the weight of the speaker. On the other hand, my side channel speakers are 4lbs each and it can easily hold them in whatever position I want.

Good way to mount your Logitech speakers
The quality is good. Sturdy. Used these to mount the 5.1 Logitech speakers system to my sim racing rig. Adjustability worked well to point speakers where I wanted them.

Issues with the finish, but otherwise solid mounts.
Sturdiness ... how to rate that exactly. They’re metal brackets with a strong clamp and metal teeth that really grip the plastic ball very well. Once locked you can’t ‘nudge’ a speaker slightly to align it.But the finish on them chipped while just holding them to the wall to mark holes. If they weren’t hidden behind speakers they’d be in the box back to amazon for a refund. That aside, they come with all the mounting hardware you could want. Oddly the instructions don’t mention drywall installation (just use the white anchors) but they work just fine in it.Something to note: if you’re speaker terminals are close to the mounting hole you won’t be able to use the included wingnut to tighten down to your speaker. Either get a regular nut and tighten it with pliers or just do without like I did and tighten the mounting post down as much as you can by hand. It’ll suffice.
