CELESTIONHeritage G12H (55Hz) Guitar Speaker, 8ohm

I replaced the Celestion 70-80 that comes stock in my Stage Right 15W. with the G12H.It really sings! Tight lows and singing mids and highs. The amp sounds much better and even more like a vintage Marshall. A bit pricey but worth it.

I am pushing this beauty with a Fender Super Champ x2 15w head. I installed this in a custom oak 12" open back enclosure. Setting the tone to the out of the box blackface setting and pushing the volume to 5+ and driving an Ibanez TS-9 this speaker is the final piece for that sought after colorful sound I was looking for. It breaks up at the right time, and gives that warm fuzzy feeling. Perfectly timed sustain can raise the hair on the back of your neck. I play both a Les Paul studio and a Strat loaded with Texas Specials. I focus mainly on classic rock and blues. I have finally found the tone I was looking for.

I installed the speaker to a Laney Cub 12 all tube amp. I did it because a friend of mine recommend me to do so and I have to tell you...WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The size of the magnet is impressive compared to the one my amp came with. It is heavy, but great tone out of this speaker makes it a winner. If you are looking for a great speaker, you will always win with the G12H. Always check how many ohms your amp needs before buying. This one is 8 ohms and it's perfect for my Laney. Remember to break in the speaker first before putting lots of volume and gain. Good Luck!

I still need to get more time in on the speaker to break it in but it sounded great out of the box. I bought 2 of these and 2 Mick Thomson signature Eminence speakers go put in a slant Peavey 5150 cab. So far it sounds great.

Celestion's best! Love this speaker. I have 4 in a 412 Marshall AHW1960. So I got two for my 212. Incredible tone and with my Amp. Totally blows away the other speakers that were in the 212.

I've played V30s for about 25+ years. Turns out I lost all that time fighting the speakers. Popped these badboys in my Mesa 4x12 oversized recto cab, along with some GT75s (for metal mojo). The heavens opened up and I saw god.Buy these.

Mixes well with other Celestion speakers for a really full sound.

I have a vintage 30 in my amp and it was way too bright. Picked up the heritage greenback and it sounds amazing. Love it.

Ordering was easy. There was a mix up with the item description and I got a different item than what I was expecting. However, I was very happy with the end result as the speaker sounded excellent. The seller was willing to take it back and refund or replace the speaker which was very good of them, but I am happy with the speaker I received. They would have received a 5 star rating if not for the mix up. I will order from them again when I need another speaker.
