These worked great for organizing beads, charms and findings for my jewelry making as well as some of the ingredients I use in making my own lip balm. Very useful, sturdy and a nice small size. The lids stay on well.

I was looking for small containers to organize/sort my vitamins & supplements as I take quite a few daily & none of the pill boxes/organizers I've found were large enough. I don't take them at different times during the day so I didn't care for the a.m./p.m./bedtime-type ones. I like to have a 30-day supply sorted out as I don't want to open that many bottles everyday (I have arthritis in one finger joint). I wanted something the right size for my purpose, easy open while staying closed in between opening, stackable, BPA-free & affordable. There are A LOT "out there" for sale that, for my purposes, would've been cost prohibitive. Even having the measurements, I wasn't sure if they'd work (I take nearly 30 pills per day), but, fortunately, they work fine. Everything fits w/ a bit room for more. So happy I found & purchased these. I spent a ridiculous amount of time looking & glad the search is over. I would not recommend them for food unless you are nestling them in a lunch carrier where they wouldn't get jostled as the lids fit well, i.e., size is right for container, but it is not a snug, drop-&-no-spill lid.
