Uni Drop Holder Type Pencil Lead, 2.0mm, 2H (ULN2H)

As advertised. I have some 2H wood pencils, the hardness of these matched up pretty well.

Received in a lovely hard case with a flip open end that allows you to retrieve a single lead and protects all within the case. Great for transporting in a travel sketch kit. Be aware this lead is the long - the entire length of a standard pencil. The lead is strong and draws beautifully. No smudges or smears, which my biggest concern as I am using this lead for sketching. I would recommend without reservation.

I use 2mm leads for geologic field mapping and technical drafting. These have worked great in all kinds of conditions on Write-In-The-Rain paper, and 2H is great for keeping smudging down even with my heavy hand. Highly recommended and I definitely plan to keep using this brand.

Substantially harder and lighter than no name brand HB leads, this feels fairly comparable to an old Staedtler Mars 2H lead I had lying around. And unlike the 4B leads I recently ordered, all 6 of the leads in this container were perfectly intact when they arrived. No problems with breaking when sharpening, even using a budget lead holder in a name brand rotary action lead pointer.

If you want the best for your clutch pencils…this is the one to buy. World’s finest graphite. 2H has good firmness to hold a point and is super smooth as well.
