Great for Duel (2) Audio Source Listening
Did exactly what I wanted. Needed an aux cord splitter so I could listen to Spotify on my phone while playing Stardew on the Switch. This does that splendidly. Havent tried to use any voicechating apps or anything but didnt really buy it for that. Sound quality sounds the same as it is when im not using the adapter. Volume adjustments with using the basic volume up/down buttons on phone and Switch works just fine. I can even pause my music with the built in button from my cheap wired earbuds when it runs through the adapter. Cords not very long, maybe 6-10 inches long, but long enough to not be an issue carrying both phone and switch on the Subway.

Completely unusable, horrible product
When I saw the price tag, I didn't have high expectations. I expected some noise and static to be present, I expected it to get kinda quiet when mixing sources, but I did expect it to do its job. This product fails to be remotely useable.I just wanted to use this to mix the audio between my switch and my headphone amp (schiit magni 3). I just want discord audio and game audio together, quality was not a concern at all for this use case. Unfortunately when plugged into both the switch and the magni 3, it produces a horrible static that completely erases all other sound. Weirdly, it works fine if just one end is plugged into either device. So I figured maybe it was a compatibility issue of some sort, so I tried plugging it into my phone. The static did not return luckily, but this product makes absolutely no effort to mix audio sources, the loudest signal will erase the quieter signal. I wouldn't be surprised if the little box contains purely wire meeting together. I'd be shocked if there was a chip in there doing anything like one of the product renders suggests (and in hindsight I don't know how it could since there is absolutely no power source for any electronics). Of course, I'm not going to take it apart to prove it since I'd like to return this without hassle.I highly recommend staying away from this product. Unless mine is grossly defective, this is essentially a scam, and it's almost guaranteed to be false advertising.

Weird behavior in certain applications
It works, but not quite how it should. For some reason my game audio back feeds thru XBL party chat into all the other party memebers games. Loudly. Everyone else could hear what I was doing on their TV's!But it's really nice to listen to animal crossing music and play Minecraft at the same time.

A much needed accessory for Switch online play.
Works great. As described. The Nintendo Switch doesn't allow one to plug in gaming headphones and play with online friends. So, this is needed to make it happen and it works excellent.

Good, but does not play nice with Discord.
Does not work well with Discord, others can hear my game audio while this device is connected to my Switch and Phone.Works fine otherwise, but the bad Discord integration is a pretty big issue.

Not perfect but an affordable workaround.
Good workaround if you want combined audio. I have used it while playing Earthfall and the Nintendo App. I was noticing that my mic was detecting audio it would not normally pick up so I did have to reduce the headset volume of the Switch to eliminate this but never had any problems with the phone side creating feedback. I also used it with the Discord app while playing Friday the 13th due to the recent issue with voice chat not always working in game. I did not have any issue with feedback with Discord for some reason. Also worth mentioning is that the instructions so a particular cable going to Switch and phone , however it does not matter which cable leads to each device. The box shows the opposite of the manual but both cables are capable of carrying mic data. Worth mentioning is that when plugged into a game that supports system level chat you do need to remove the adapter as it somehow interrupts mic function to and from the system. Also worth mentioning it is much smaller than I expected it to be so it shouldn't take up much space in a carrying case if you wanted to travel with it.

Treats switch as a mic
While I can barely hear my switch, it sounds annoyingly loud to people on discord.

Great converter!
Great little converter. I use it for audio between my computer and switch. It automatically reduces the audio of the switch when pc audio comes on which I love.

WARNING - SCAM - WARNING
This is a glorified male to male triple connectors. There's no chip in it. It cannot be used for your PC and the sound will bleed into whatever app you are using. In fact, the Switch volume will be as loud as you so don't surprise if your friend cannot hear what you are saying. It's a scam!

Does not work as advertised - but better than nothing
Does a solid job of mixing in the two audio sources into your headphones, however the mic aspect is VERY broken. It will randomly either:a) use your headset mic but also send game audio to everyone else on chat.b) use your phone mic instead of your headset mic.Which of those it does seems to be pretty random and inconsistent. However if you use an android phone, there are apps that let you override which mic is used, so you can at least always get (b) to happen. Not ideal but better than nothing so long as you have an ok built in phone mic.I thought I might have a faulty device but reading through other reviews it looks like almost everyone who is using this for chat is having similar issues. Too bad since it's a great idea.EDIT: additional issue I've found after more use is that it flips the left and right channels. So you have to wear headphones backwards get proper directional audio from games. I've docked it another star for this.UPDATE: started using this with a newer phone (a Galaxy S10e) and issue with audio leaking / using the phone mic instead of the headset mic stopped happening, however the left and right channels being flipped remain a problem.
