I made an elasticized cat collar from the balls to use to scent swap for 2 cats I'm trying to introduce to one another. Saw a similar collar on Jackson Galaxy's 'My Cat From Hell' show but couldn't find one online to buy so decided to make my own. Balls work perfectly. The balls are the right size and easy to attach with elastic thread, not through the balls, but just sewn to the ball exterior. The felt surface is good to soak up the cats' scents. So thankful I found these.

I originally got these balls for my ferrets (who always steal my wool dryer balls) and they showed no interest. My cat went berserk for them. She loves these little balls and chases them around the house (and stores them in my shoes/drowns them in her water dish). They are soft enough for her to pick them up and carry them around, but firm enough that it takes a few weeks of heavy play before they start to "fall apart" and unravel. We keep about 10-20 out around the house at all times and she always has one in her mouth or is chasing one down the hallway. A great inexpensive toy.
